After returning to the residence, they quickly began to pack their belongings. They meticulously organized everything they needed, ensuring that nothing was overlooked. Once everything was ready, they were just waiting to set off.
Before leaving, one of them solemnly instructed Old Zhang to take good care of the household affairs and to send someone to the palace to report on their journey. After giving these instructions, they mounted their horses, and the sound of hooves echoed through the air as they galloped towards Linbo County like a swift wind.
The journey between Wu City and Linbo County was long, taking at least ten days for a round trip. Once they exited the gates of Wu City, they headed east along the main road.
Time passed swiftly, and before long, half a day had gone by. The sun was setting in the west, and night was about to fall. However, looking around, they saw no sign of any inns.
Fortunately, not far ahead appeared a fairly large village, like a beacon of hope in the darkness, offering a glimmer of relief for the weary travelers. They urged their horses to the village entrance and knocked on the door of a nearby house.
The homeowner heard the knock and came out. Although the travelers looked dusty and tired, they appeared decent and not like nefarious characters. Thus, he warmly welcomed them inside and kindly arranged accommodations for them.
After some conversation, they learned that this family was surnamed Liu and consisted of five members. The middle-aged man who seemed quite steady was the head of the household. He smiled at them and said, "Gentlemen, please rest in this room for now."
They hurriedly expressed their gratitude: "Thank you very much!"
Once the room was arranged, the Liu family head turned and busied himself in the kitchen. Before long, he brought out several steaming plates of delicious dishes.

The household consisted of three people: an elderly woman, a middle-aged woman, and a sweet little girl.
