The fire on the floor had charred the walls and tiles of the Gene Building. How could she possibly keep this under wraps?

Lu Youyou had no time for further thought; the thick smoke had already reached the threshold of the Smoke Alarm, causing it to start blaring.
Normally, a Smoke Alarm would be equipped with an automatic sprinkler system to extinguish fires, but it had been beeping for quite some time without a single drop of water. It could only be said that the Mini Robot purchased by Xu Lie was truly impressive in its cost-effectiveness.
In just a few seconds, the smoke spread, causing the Smoke Alarms in the other corridors to join in the cacophony.
