Once again, a nuclear explosion?! Exciting, exciting! A single show with two nuclear explosions, the production team really knows how to burn through their budget!
What a surprise! This second nuclear explosion caught me completely off guard. I hadn't even started boiling my instant noodles when it was already over?
Sigh, did I misjudge the plot? It wasn't Anthony and William who stopped the nuclear explosion; it was Alien Life that took the Tactical Nuclear Weapon and threw it back in the faces of the Hawk Faction?
Tsk tsk, no wonder it's called a Tactical Nuclear Weapon; that mushroom cloud is truly spectacular.
I can understand it. After the assassination by the Hawk Faction and the rocket launcher attack on the UFO, it's not surprising that Alien Life retaliated.
The audience was buzzing with excitement, happily discussing the events. However, over at the Great Federation, there was no joy—only immense tension.
With high-energy strikes suspected to be nuclear reactions detected, the higher-ups were understandably on edge. They quickly dispatched various personnel for investigation and soon concluded that the explosion involved only a Tactical Nuclear Weapon.
Just like the Tactical Nuclear Weapon that exploded at Metropolis Port before, it was suspected to be from the same batch. The blast occurred at the Hawk Faction's estate, and there were no further repercussions. Surveillance footage captured sightings of Alien UFOs in the vicinity.
Thus, they found themselves in yet another emergency online meeting. The higher-ups of the Great Federation noticed some absentees and exchanged glances.
Once a triumvirate, now only the Dove Faction and Centrists remained; not a single member of the Hawk Faction was present.
Some high-ranking officials who had previously been friendly with the Hawk Faction felt a sense of sorrow; others who had poor relations with them were overjoyed, almost ready to celebrate with fireworks, believing that in the future Great Federation, it would be dominated by their Dove Faction.
There were those who thought it didn't concern them at all and wondered if they should change their name to something else since they were no longer in between anything.
Ahem. Finally, one person from the Dove Faction stood up: "Shall we discuss this first?"
If this silence continues, this meeting won't happen at all. They should establish a tone regarding the demise of the Hawk Faction. Was it a terrorist attack by Alien Life? Or did the Hawk Faction bring this disaster upon themselves by first assassinating Alien Life?
Before anyone else could speak, Xu Lie's figure appeared in the meeting. Previously involved in planning chaos with two Bionic Persons, he had kept his hacking skills under wraps.
Now that things were more or less settled, Xu Lie had no reservations and boldly hacked into the meeting: "Mind if you add me in?"
I would also like to hear your thoughts on this matter.
The members of the Dove Faction and the Centrists all tensed up, their pupils shaking with disbelief. How could they have been hacked during a heavily encrypted Online Meeting? With so many cybersecurity protocols and firewalls in place, there was not a single alert?
Regardless of their faction, everyone felt a chill deep within. They vaguely recalled the first appearance of the Alien UFO over the metropolis, when many scientists reached a consensus: technological superiority, a dimensional strike.
Given humanity's current technological level, it was entirely impossible to compete with Alien Life; numerous scientists had come to the same conclusion: they were unbeatable. Now, they truly understood the wisdom of those scientists; just this level of network technology far surpassed their own capabilities.
The upper echelons of the Great Federation were shaken to their core by the alien technology. One member of the Dove Faction expressed, "Respected Lie, the assassination carried out by the Hawk Faction was entirely their own decision! We had no prior knowledge of it, and now that they have been wiped out by a nuclear bomb, it is a fate they deserve."
The Centrists were equally unwilling to back down: "The Hawk Faction's actions are too reckless; they are completely different from us, who cherish peace."
