The intelligent scan of the UFO quickly yielded results. There was nothing nearby, so it flew a bit farther to continue scanning. After two hours of back and forth, it had locked onto two similar locations. Xu Lie was fortunate; he found the right place on his first attempt.
Successfully arriving at the site known as Three Mountains and Two Lakes, he spotted the Starry Ancient Tree atop a mountain. This tree was indeed extraordinary. Standing at over thirty meters tall, it loomed magnificently, covering most of the mountain peak. About one in every ten leaves emitted a star-like glow. Although only a tenth of the leaves were luminous, their sheer number made the tree appear as if it were shining like stars even in broad daylight.
At the same time, there stood a Purple-Haired Elder in white robes before the tree. Indeed, the elder's hair color might seem somewhat outlandish; it was rare for an old man to have such a slightly flamboyant hue. However, this was related to magical energy and atmospheric essence. Influenced by these factors, mages in the magical realm often possessed various unusual hair colors. This was common knowledge in that world.
It wasn't just in the Burning Fire realm; even in the Shendai realm, which Xu Lie had traveled through, there were similar occurrences. Tuha had green hair, while the Alchemist God sported red locks. The deities of the divine realm, when gathered together for a meeting, could be likened to Xu Lie's previous experiences with non-mainstream families from decades ago—there wasn't much difference in that regard. The only distinction was that the former excelled far beyond the latter in terms of appearance and presence.
The Purple-Haired Elder looked on with curiosity and kindness, performing a special gesture toward the hidden position of the UFO. He placed his left hand on his right shoulder and then let it fall, likely a unique form of etiquette among mages in the Burning Fire realm.
In a modern society like Black and White, no matter how advanced radar technology might be, it would never detect a UFO like this one; yet it was easily discovered by mages from the magical realm. This did not imply that the Burning Fire realm was superior to Black and White; magic and technology might reach similar endpoints, but their paths were vastly different.
Xu Lie did not hide his presence; he was here to unite rather than to engage in any underhanded dealings. He confidently deactivated the Optical Camouflage, earning an impressed exclamation from the Purple-Haired Elder: "Which mage could this be? This flying Alchemy house—someone has truly succeeded! Impressive! Though its design is somewhat peculiar and overly rounded, this level of achievement is likely unparalleled."
Xu Lie did not land the UFO but instead flew out with Anthony and Charles. For all three of them, Flying Magic was merely a small spell they had received as a gift. Retrieving the UFO into his Azure Blue Ring, Xu Lie slowly approached the Purple-Haired Elder.
The Purple-Haired Elder greeted him with a smile, but upon seeing Xu Lie's face, he immediately became cautious.
Xu Lie didn't take it to heart; he understood the reason behind it. "Don't worry, I'm not an Evil Mage," he assured.
As mentioned earlier, in the magical realm, most mages could be identified by their affinity with certain elements. In the Burning Fire domain, black-haired individuals typically represented dark Su Qin magic. Unfortunately, these types of Su Qin mages often strayed onto the path of evil, committing acts of murder and soul extraction, and engaging in city-wide blood sacrifices that everyone condemned.
In the storyline of Burning Fire, the protagonist Beck constantly fought against Evil Mages. However, not all black-haired mages were malevolent.
The Purple-Haired Elder had a black-haired friend who was not part of the Evil Mage faction. Hearing Xu Lie's words, the elder relaxed, his hostility fading away. After all, it was unlikely that any Evil Mage would be bold enough to cause trouble at the venue of the Mage Exchange Conference.
But in the next moment, Xu Lie revealed a wicked grin. "Ah, I'm sorry; I was just kidding."
