The location of the All-Continent Mage Exchange Conference, which had been held for seventy consecutive years, has been completely transformed into the Truth School. Inspired by Xu Lie's speech, the school aims to educate mages who can once again access the Truth Gate.
Under the construction of the Shi Golem school, the facilities have become increasingly refined over the past month. The teaching and dormitory buildings are impressive, but what stands out even more are the numerous mage laboratories surrounding them, dedicated to researching various Magic Books sourced from the Truth Gate.
Beyond that, there are practice rooms where teachers guide students in various disciplines such as Alchemy, Potionology, magical circles, and Magical Technology. The enthusiasm of these teachers is at its peak, as they have already received a portion of Magic Books from Xu Lie in advance. These books comprehensively cover fields like Alchemy and Magic Potions, providing a complete foundation from scratch. The teachers are astounded and even more eager for access to the Truth Gate, as these books originate from there.
In reality, these texts are the primary school curriculum for grades one through eight in the Shendai world. Indeed, in that magical realm, even elementary education spans eight years. It’s not hard to understand that learning in the magical world involves not only acquiring knowledge but also dedicating time to meditation. Mornings are for study while afternoons are reserved for meditation; thus, extending school years is quite reasonable.
In addition to these changes, the two mountains and two lakes have become breeding grounds for magical beasts, regularly producing materials and meat. The outer areas have transformed into magical plant cultivation fields, marked by wooden signs warning fire mages to stay out. This warning infuriated Qilunaar: "Two points?! Why don’t you go and take them?!"
His booming voice created sound waves strong enough to knock down several grass-like plants within the field. Two female mages with green hair stood their ground without fear, unfazed by Qilunaar's loudness. The elder sister, Daphne, firmly stated, "It's two points; there's nothing to discuss." The younger sister supported her: "Those magical plants are our hard work!"
"Hard work?" Qilunaar scoffed. "If I hadn’t seen Xu Lie personally gift you those magical plants, I would almost believe they were your efforts."
Daphne was visibly upset as she replied, "For over a month now, my sister and I have taken care of those magical plants day and night; isn’t that hard work?"
As the three faced off against each other, an apprentice named Beric stood nearby along with two other mages—specifically, two potion masters.
One of them couldn't help but correct, "No, to be precise, you sisters are using magical energy."
A colleague quickly tugged at him, signaling that the argument was already heated enough without him adding fuel to the fire. Unfortunately, his remark drew the attention of both the Daphne Sisters and Qilunaar.
This left the potion master, who had tried to intervene, feeling quite awkward. "Ahem, did you two have a disagreement?" he asked. "We still need to complete Xu Liexian's research task related to the alchemical extraction of magical plants."
As a teacher, he received a fixed amount of points each month. In addition, Xu Lie issued a series of research tasks with designated projects. As long as they achieved results, they could earn points.
Currently, all the teachers in the school were holding their breath and working hard on their tasks, all for the sake of earning more points to exchange for the magical knowledge or items they desired.
Not to mention this topic—just mentioning the research tasks made Daphne's eyes turn red. "Exactly! We were so close to completing our research task!" she exclaimed. "It's all your apprentice's fault for playing with fire and burning everything! Is it too much to ask for two points from you?"
Once those words were out, Qilunaar found himself at a loss for a rebuttal and could only glare fiercely at Beric.
Beric chuckled awkwardly, not daring to speak up; he knew he had caused trouble and had not even apologized before being summoned by the teacher.
Though glaring was one thing, Qilunaar also couldn't produce two points at that moment. In Truth School, aside from Principal Xu Lie, who wasn't short on points?
Was it really unreasonable to demand two points for such a small amount of magical plants? Qilunaar argued his case.
Daphne's face was nearly black with anger. "Your apprentice burned down an entire plot of land!"
Qilunaar was taken aback; he hadn't expected that. He initially thought Beric had merely practiced Fire Magic and burned a few magical plants.
