Time flows unceasingly, and the seasons change swiftly.
When the Floating Island once again appeared in the sky above the Silver Moon Kingdom Capital, the residents had grown accustomed to it. This marked the third official enrollment of the Truth School. No one hurried to hide in their basements, nor did they seek help from the city guards; they simply continued with their daily lives. At most, they would occasionally glance up at the Floating Island, their eyes reflecting either envy or pride.
The envy was self-explanatory, while the pride stemmed from having a child or a close relative who could attend the Truth School and learn magic. The first batch of students had returned home, showcasing various spells that had driven everyone on the continent into a frenzy. The supernatural magic they demonstrated was akin to a Divine Miracle, igniting countless desires among the populace.
Each of these returning students carried with them numerous stories. For instance, they were warmly invited to banquets by kings, ministers, and nobles, who offered generous rewards in hopes that these graduates would serve the kingdom. Some even sought to ask the students if they could inquire at the Truth School about whether they—these influential figures—could also learn magic.
Parents who had once longed for their children to attend but were unable to do so now approached with gifts, subtly inquiring about future marriages. Additionally, there were tales of magical beasts that had previously wreaked havoc being dealt with by a few students from small towns, earning them local acclaim.
Naturally, everyone around was eager to know what plans these students had for the future, hoping they would choose to stay. Some students were quite tempted by these offers, while others remained indifferent, wishing only to continue teaching at the school to earn points and pursue deeper and more advanced magic.
Now that the Floating Island had returned, all residents with children of suitable age understood one thing: whether their child could leap through the dragon gate and transform into a dragon depended on this upcoming Admissions Test!
Two years prior, when the Truth School first opened its doors, many parents forbade their children from attending. Now, those same parents regretted their decisions deeply and became subjects of ridicule among their neighbors. This time around, such occurrences would not happen again.
As soon as they spotted the Floating Island approaching, many residents rushed home with one goal in mind: to find their children and ensure they participated in the Admissions Test seven days later. Who would dare refuse? They would break your legs if you did!
While the common folk hurried about below, the teachers responsible for admissions on the Floating Island were cheerfully assigning tasks. Times had changed; during the first enrollment period, they had needed to personally visit every town and village in every direction.
At this moment, it was no longer necessary; after nurturing two generations of students, it was time to put their skills to use. The students scattered across various towns and villages had already received their testing crystals before returning home for the holiday. During the break, they would test the eligible individuals in their hometowns.
Without the existence of magic, granting such early enrollment rights could lead to various minor issues. For instance, students might refuse to test for families with whom they had grudges, exploit the situation for profit, or open back doors for certain individuals. However, in a magical world, such concerns were greatly alleviated.
These testing crystals were embedded with various spells—lie detection and verification spells—making it impossible for students to conceal anything. In fact, some villages ended up with no students at all. If there were students in nearby villages, the Enrollment Teachers would have to personally travel there to conduct early tests to avoid any complications.
The Enrollment Teachers only needed to dispatch Small Airships to pick up the students one by one, saving a significant amount of time and effort compared to the initial enrollment process. With the third enrollment of Truth School underway, the entire Magic Continent thrived, except for a small faction of Evil Mages who harbored resentment.
