"Master Gu, it seems something is about to happen," someone on the cruise ship said anxiously as they peered through a telescope.
"That Tu Li was supposed to be dead, but he consumed something that has greatly increased his power. It's utterly shameless," a Feng Shui Master from Hong Kong Island expressed his dissatisfaction.
"Shouldn't we head back? Tu Li seems to have gone mad. If he goes on a rampage, could he harm us?" another voice chimed in.
Upon hearing this, everyone nodded in agreement. At that moment, Tu Li resembled a monstrous being unleashed upon the world. Who knew if he would resort to murder to silence anyone? The elite of Hong Kong Island had initially trusted Jia Xingliang and Gu Yun Nan, believing they could defeat Tu Li. However, with Jia Xingliang on the brink of collapse and Gu Yun Nan seemingly unable to contend with him, it was wiser for everyone to leave. Enjoying the spectacle was one thing, but losing their lives over it was another matter entirely.
"Master Gu hasn't lost yet; we shouldn't leave!" Han Baiying shouted, unable to accept the possibility of Gu Yun Nan's defeat.
Liu Toukang felt conflicted. If Gu Yun Nan were to lose, how would he explain it to Jiang Chen?
As the crowd on the cruise ship grew increasingly anxious, a voice suddenly echoed through the air, ethereal and commanding.
"Since this is a contest of skills, there's no need for lethal force."
The words caused Tu Li to pause in surprise. Regaining his composure, he turned towards the cruise ship and roared, "Who is it?"
Gu Yun Nan also lifted his head. The voice had seemed calm but carried an undercurrent of restrained power; anyone who could say such a thing was certainly not an ordinary person.
Jiang Chen moved swiftly, leaping off the ship and landing on the Mu Zhou that Gu Yun Nan had arrived on. Remarkably, despite the recent tumultuous waves, the Mu Zhou had not capsized—an indication of good fortune—though Jia Xingliang was left feeling dizzy from the rocking.
"It’s you?" Jia Xingliang exclaimed in shock as he saw Jiang Chen on the Mu Zhou.
"Master Jia, it seems I won’t need you to take me to meet your master after all," Jiang Chen replied with a faint smile.
"You’d better not interfere; Tu Li has gone mad! Even my master can't handle him; if you go, you’ll only find death," Jia Xingliang warned.
"You don’t need to worry about that," Jiang Chen said as he picked up a bamboo pole and flicked it towards Jia Xingliang. Before Jia Xingliang could react, he was sent flying back onto the cruise ship, rolling several times before being helped up by others.
A once-great Feng Shui Master now found himself in such a disgraceful position—it was truly embarrassing. But Jia Xingliang couldn't afford to dwell on that; he scrambled to the edge of the ship and shouted at Jiang Chen, "Young man, come back quickly! You’re no match for Tu Li!"
But Jiang Chen had already begun rowing towards Black Dragon Island.
"Who is this young man? Is he a new talent from our Feng Shui community?" Many Feng Shui Masters who had initially overlooked Jiang Chen were now taken aback.
At such a moment, Jiang Chen dared to step forward. Regardless of his actual strength, his audacity alone made many present feel inadequate.
Seeing that Jiang Chen ignored his warnings, Jia Xingliang shook his head repeatedly. He had only met Jiang Chen once at Eight Immortals Ridge when Jiang Chen mentioned needing a hundred billion just to meet his master. Originally, Jia Xingliang planned to arrange for Jiang Chen to meet his master that night; now both their lives were in jeopardy.
Indeed, life is unpredictable.
Moreover, Jia Xingliang did not believe that Jiang Chen could defeat Tu Li. After all, even he and his master had struggled against Tu Li; now that Tu Li had become demonic, he was even harder to deal with. A young man like Jiang Chen could not possibly surpass him in skill—even if he had been training since birth.
