Jiang Lu and Qin Xusha were already waiting at the airport exit. As soon as they spotted Jiang Chen, the two of them rushed over to greet him.
"Brother Jiang, you finally made it! This is my classmate, Jiang Lu. Ever since I mentioned introducing her to you as a sister, she has been looking forward to meeting you!" Qin Xusha exclaimed, pointing at Jiang Lu with a playful smile.
"Great! How old are you? Are you going to be my sister or my older sister?" Jiang Chen asked gently, recognizing Jiang Lu from the photos he had seen.
"I'm only eighteen, so I should be younger than you," Jiang Lu replied without any sense of unfamiliarity towards Jiang Chen. It seemed that Qin Xusha had talked quite a bit about him in front of her.
"Oh, then you'll be my sister! Where are you from?" Jiang Chen smiled. He felt an unexpected familiarity with Jiang Lu; perhaps it was because they shared the same surname? That seemed unlikely since Jiang was a common surname.
"I'm from An Province. So from now on, I'll call you brother!" Jiang Lu said happily.
"Okay, sounds good!" Jiang Chen nodded. Since he had no family at the moment, having an additional "sister" didn't matter much to him.
Jiang Lu smiled contentedly and linked her arm with Qin Xusha's, turning to Jiang Chen and said, "Brother, Sister Qin said I missed you, but she misses you even more! She dressed up specially today to welcome you. Don’t you think she looks beautiful?"
Since Jiang Lu was slightly younger than Qin Xusha, she called her "Sister." However, this kind of address among classmates indicated a particularly close relationship.
"Xiao Lu, don’t say such nonsense! Your brother is my lifesaver; I practically owe him my life! How could I have any other thoughts?" Qin Xusha blushed shyly.
"Haha, let’s not talk about that anymore. It’s getting dark; let’s go eat instead of standing around at the airport," Jiang Chen suggested, shifting the topic. He wasn’t considering dating at all.
Jiang Lu and Qin Xusha quickly agreed.
Qin Xusha drove them to a high-end residential area in the city called Dela Apartment. The apartments here were extremely expensive; the top-floor penthouse was worth a staggering one billion Huaxia Coins.
"Young Master, this place we’re staying in belongs to a good friend of mine. Her family immigrated to Great Britain years ago. This time she’s back for a vacation and let me borrow her apartment. Yesterday and today, she’s been our tour guide," Qin Xusha explained. Since starting university, she began referring to Jiang Chen as "Young Master."
"Sister Qin's friend is also a stunning beauty and has a personality just as lovely as hers," Jiang Lu added with a smile.
"Really? I’d like to meet her then," Jiang Chen replied casually. Since Jiang Lu was now his sister, he felt no need for overly formal conversation and pretended to be very interested in beautiful women—a normal behavior for a guy.
"Young Master, her name is Ni Xingyi. She works in fashion design and has a show in Paris next weekend. She invited me and Xiao Lu to go along; Young Master, would you like to join us?" Qin Xusha suggested with a smile.
"Sure! This is a rare opportunity; I’ll accompany you both around Europe," Jiang Chen replied cheerfully.
"Wow, it’s so great to have you as my brother!" Jiang Lu giggled.
"Hehe, since you've become my sister, how could I not treat you well?" Jiang Chen smiled warmly.
An hour later, as they drove into the underground garage of Dela Apartment and got out of the car, they noticed a tall woman stepping out of a nearby Mercedes G-Class. She appeared to be several years older than Qin Xusha—probably around twenty-seven or twenty-eight—and was dressed very stylishly with shoulder-length short hair and high heels that added an extra seven or eight centimeters to her height.
