Qin Xusha couldn't help but chuckle inwardly at Li Wenhou, who seemed to be looking for trouble by mocking Jiang Chen.
"Mr. Li, while you are indeed a talented young man, you should understand that there are always people better than you. It's important to maintain basic courtesy and respect when you don't know someone well. Don't offend someone without realizing it," Qin Xusha reminded him with a hint of a smile.
"You are right; there are indeed others out there. However, it's not him, Miss Qin. I advise you to be cautious. As a young lady from high society, you shouldn't associate with just anyone, especially those with ulterior motives, lest you lower your own status," Li Wenhou said with a light laugh, his expression proud.
"I've already given you my advice. If you choose not to listen, that's your decision," Qin Xusha replied casually before lowering her head to sip her drink. She guessed that someone like Jiang Chen wouldn't take Li Wenhou seriously.
Ni Xingyi, sitting nearby, glanced at Jiang Chen when Qin Xusha mentioned that there were always people better than others. She understood Qin Xusha's tendency to keep her distance from men, but it seemed she was particularly respectful towards Jiang Chen. Initially, Ni Xingyi hadn't thought much of it, but now she wondered if Jiang Chen had some significant background.
However, upon closer inspection of Jiang Chen, Ni Xingyi found it hard to associate him with anything impressive based on his appearance alone. His attire was too casual, and after spending time with Jiang Lu over the past few days, Ni Xingyi felt that Jiang Lu was quite innocent and didn't seem like the child of a wealthy family. Jiang Lu had mentioned that she came from a small county in Huaxia, which naturally didn't align with the elite circles Ni Xingyi was familiar with.
Though briefly puzzled, Ni Xingyi dismissed her concerns and began discussing Mengli Delson and fashion design with Li Wenhou. He turned out to be quite knowledgeable about the fashion industry, impressing Ni Xingyi with his insights.
Meanwhile, Jiang Chen and the others had no understanding of fashion design and were simply enjoying their meal. After an hour of feasting, Ni Xingyi realized that Qin Xusha and the others were bored and decided to take her leave.
Li Wenhou didn't try to keep them; after all, they would meet again tomorrow. It wasn't wise to rush things when pursuing someone.
On the way back in the car, Ni Xingyi apologized as she drove, "Xusha, Xiao Lu, I'm sorry for making you sit around all night."
"Sister Ni, I should thank you! The food tonight was delicious; I really enjoyed it," Jiang Lu said with a smile.
"Xiao Lu, you're such a charmer! No wonder Xusha likes you so much. By the way, Xiao Lu, I remembered something—next weekend is my fashion show. I have a few outfits themed around youth but haven't found suitable models yet. Would you be willing to model for me?" Ni Xingyi asked with a smile.
"Ah? I can't do that, Sister Ni! Your fashion show is too important; I wouldn't want to mess it up for you. Besides, I'm not even 1.7 meters tall; I'm not suitable as a model," Jiang Lu quickly declined.
"Who says models have to be tall? You must be around 1.66 or 1.67 meters tall; if you wear high heels, you'll surpass 1.7 meters easily! It’s fine unless you really don’t want to help me," Ni Xingyi laughed.
