"Ugh, what do you mean by blowing up my whole family?" Lu Youyou spat, her eyes suddenly lighting up. "Home, right! Why don’t you just hide at my place, Xu Lie? My parents and sister spoil me; I should be able to convince them."

Xu Lie gasped in disbelief. For the first time, he realized that he was being driven to frustration by a girl’s foolishness. "Do you even hear what you're saying? Do you think the Special Investigation Team is just going to sit around while you hide under the bed? What are you thinking?"
Not to mention the surveillance along the way that would clearly capture him with Lu Youyou's family—what if he managed to avoid being seen? If the investigation team had even the slightest suspicion, they could easily check for changes in electricity or water usage or even food portions. How could they not notice someone hiding in the house?

However, given the current dire situation, she couldn't afford to bicker. She could only lightly tap Xu Lie on the arm and let it go. "But you didn't threaten me; helping you is my own choice."
