Lu Youyou felt a mix of emotions, scolding yet concerned. After scrolling through several short videos, she noticed they all mentioned the Special Investigation Team.

"Dad!" Lu Youyou looked genuinely aggrieved. "I didn't want to lie to you or make you worry; that's why I told the truth. Why can't I go?"
Lu Ba immediately softened at the sight of his precious daughter looking so wronged. He wanted to say something comforting but couldn't find the words. With a helpless sigh, he muttered, "It's really you."
"I'm not eating anymore, I'll take you there," Lu Jie said, raising his hand in an attempt to intervene. His two daughters were precious to him, and Lu Ba did not refuse; he had no choice but to agree. With three out of the four family members ready to go, how could Lu Ma agree to stay behind alone?
Thus, the family of four drove towards the Special Investigation Team, arriving with high hopes but leaving in disappointment. The Special Investigation Team strictly prohibited Xu Lie from having any contact with outsiders, even those related to the case like Lu Youyou.
Lu Ma and Lu Jie looked quite disappointed that they couldn't see Xu Lie in person, while Lu Ba was overjoyed and even opened a bottle of wine at home. Lu Youyou, on the other hand, was extremely frustrated. She tossed and turned all night, unable to eat or sleep properly. The next day, feeling unwell and restless, she woke up early without going to her own school.
