The pure force erupted from Chen Tao's wrist, surging up his arm to his shoulder and neck, sending a jolt of pain coursing through him. It felt as if he were being forcibly twisted from facing forward to facing backward.
In a split second, taking advantage of his half-turned body, Chen Tao spun around, turning his back to Xu Lie and swinging his leg back.
But it was too slow—far too slow.
Before Xu Lie, whose reflexes were sharp enough to dodge bullets, this little trick was nothing.
With Xu Lie's exceptional dynamic vision, he easily saw through Chen Tao's scorpion tail kick before it even rose high; he stepped down heavily on Chen Tao's ankle, thwarting his attack.
The camera captured this moment of impact and quickly shifted to Chen Tao's front, perfectly framing the pained expression etched on his face as he furrowed his brows; it felt as though the bones in his ankle were about to shatter.
He wanted to break free but couldn't escape; Xu Lie still had a firm grip on his wrist.
The excruciating pain overwhelmed Chen Tao's senses, forcing him to instinctively push off with his other foot, thrusting backward with all his might, aiming the back of his head toward Xu Lie in an attempt to make him release his hold.
Though quick as a hare, to Xu Lie, it appeared painfully slow.
Xu Lie even had the leisure to contemplate during the fight whether to deliver a powerful headbutt that would crush all of Chen Tao's schemes or to be more graceful, releasing Chen Tao's wrist while dodging the reckless blow and then continuing to hold onto him.
It could only be said that sheer basic attributes dominated the situation without any suspense.
As Chen Tao's head drew closer, Xu Lie felt a thrill of excitement.
If he was going to deliver a blow, given that he was playing the role of the Second Prince, it needed some flair, right?
The thought of causing trouble always lingered in Xu Lie's mind.
Without hesitation, he charged straight ahead without dodging or evading, crashing into the back of Chen Tao's head!
The two heads collided with a tremendous thud!
Song Qiao and A Gang, who were watching nearby, were left shocked and terrified, rushing forward to check if their prince was injured.
By the time they reached him, Xu Lie had already released Chen Tao, who lay crumpled on the ground, unconscious.
Xu Lie appeared unfazed as if nothing had happened; his forehead bore no signs of injury and he looked as vibrant as ever, radiating an overwhelming aura of dominance.
That head-on collision truly left an impression; even now, the Danmaku before Xu Lie had yet to cease.
"Whoa? Whoa!! That was incredibly bold, Second Prince!"
"Second Prince is amazing! He went straight in without dodging! A real man should fight like this!"
"A few minutes ago, I was praising Chen Tao for his significant progress, but now it seems he hasn't improved much. He went from being instantly defeated by the Second Prince to managing a few exchanges, but there's still room for growth."

However, in Xu Lie's heart, it no longer stirred any waves. He knew that the Cang Hai Jue and Drama World were nearing their conclusion.
This martial arts world that he had drastically altered was only a matter of wrapping things up properly and setting the stage for the Age of Exploration.
