In the aftermath of the disaster, both sides were exhausted. Most people slumped in their seats, either gasping for breath or praying in celebration of their survival. Many watched as Director Anthony and Charles each dispatched a vehicle back to the port.
At that moment, emotions were running high, and no one had the energy to ponder why they were returning; it was enough that someone was going back. It felt like a scene they had witnessed before, replaying itself once more.
The two vehicles sped back, even faster than before! This startled everyone, and both sides forced themselves to regain composure, growing increasingly tense. Just moments ago, two experts had confidently boarded the Transport Ship, only to return at breakneck speed to announce that a nuclear bomb was about to explode! Now it was happening again—this rapid return felt all too familiar.
Everyone was on edge, wondering what shocking news these two colleagues would bring back. Some had already begun to close their eyes and pray to the divine, while others were screaming in hysteria.
Anthony and Charles became serious, not waiting for their subordinates to report back. They moved to the front to greet their confidants.
Soon enough, the mystery was unveiled. Neither confidant dared to exit the vehicle; instead, they rolled down their windows and shouted: "UFO! After the nuclear explosion, there’s a glowing UFO hidden beneath the port!"
Everyone who heard this was left speechless. Some gaped with mouths wide enough to fit a duck egg; others stared with eyes as round as saucers. Many questioned whether the two confidants had suffered radiation damage that affected their minds.
The mention of a UFO was simply too shocking for most. In a science fiction movie, perhaps it would be acceptable, but in reality? Who would believe such a thing? They would rather speculate that the two confidants had been hallucinating due to radiation from the nuclear bomb than accept that a UFO truly existed.
Anthony's expression turned grave. Without lingering any longer, he climbed into one of the vehicles and commanded, "To the port!" There was no need for doubt about the confidants here; there was no room for wild speculation.
Is it true or false? A single glance at the port would provide the answer. Charles was not to be outdone; he returned to his extended luxury car and similarly instructed the driver to head to the port. The driver was afraid of radiation, but even more terrified of his boss's methods, so he complied without question.
The boss had already left, and the captain and the crew all shrank back like turtles. Were they really not afraid of facing consequences later?
At this moment, both sides—black and white—who had managed to escape quickly, were thinking differently as they made their way back to the port. The return journey was exceptionally quiet, no longer filled with the frantic shouts of earlier as they fled for their lives. There were no calls to hurry up or speed up; the only sound was the engine of the vehicles.
They didn't even need to reach the port. As dozens of cars approached from a higher ground, they noticed that what should have been a pitch-black port was now glowing with an unusual light from about half a mile away.
Anthony was the first to get out of the car and grabbed a pair of binoculars. What he saw was astonishing: the massive crater caused by a Tactical Nuclear Weapon had vanished, replaced by a perfectly square underground space. Roughly estimated, it measured about three hundred meters in length and width, though its exact depth was indiscernible.
Inside this underground space stood a gleaming UFO! It was a circular spacecraft entirely unlike human technology, resembling those often seen in science fiction movies. The UFO shone in a silver-white hue, and this pristine silver color was clearly not ordinary; it was evident that it was made of some special metal that temporarily exceeded human technological capabilities.
Through the binoculars, there were no visible filaments or lights, yet the surface of the UFO emitted a soft white glow that illuminated everything around it without being blinding. Not just Anthony but everyone who looked at the UFO dropped their jaws in disbelief, completely unable to comprehend what they were witnessing.
