Did they really think they were superheroes? The impact of the nuclear weapon was too great to be underestimated. Joseph immediately slammed his hand on the table. "Now! Right away! Contact Anthony! I want to speak with him personally!"
The situation was becoming increasingly dire, and the audience was sending Danmaku messages to discuss it.
"I never expected that a civil war could escalate to tactical nuclear weapons. It seems the Military-Industrial Complex has really been pushed to the brink by the Great Federation."
"Wow, a nuclear explosion is way more exciting than a gunfight!"
"If a TV show can pull off two nuclear explosions, I would call this production team the strongest!"
The camera followed William, but it was only because a UFO belonging to Xu Lie was hidden above the command center that the cameras were summoned at this moment. This allowed Anthony to make another appearance and provide clues about the tactical nuclear weapon.
The command center moved swiftly. Under Joseph's firm orders, it wasn't long before he was connected with Anthony. Once known for his serious demeanor and adherence to order, Anthony now appeared disheveled, his clothes tattered, resembling a homeless person from the Great Federation. Yet his eyes still sparkled with determination.
"General Joseph, I have found a team member who is preparing to infiltrate the Military-Industrial Complex's building for investigation."
Since receiving this information, Joseph's furrowed brow had not relaxed. Upon hearing about Anthony's movements, his tightly knit brows finally eased slightly, and respect flickered in his gaze. "Anthony, you are a true hero of the Great Federation! The Great Federation will never forget warriors like you who fight so valiantly!"
"I will transfer all command authority of the temporary Stealth Teams still lurking in Sherwood City to you." Joseph was not foolish; he knew that Anthony's actions were fraught with danger—he was essentially putting his life on the line.
Anthony accepted Joseph's praise calmly. "Just having this information recognized by the command center is enough for me. I don't expect too much. If I don't make it back alive this time, I hope you can take care of my former colleagues and subordinates."
Joseph bowed solemnly, a gesture of respect for the fearless hero. "Rest assured, I will make sure of it."
After exchanging a few simple words, Joseph shakily ended the communication and waved for his confidant. "Go prepare a Jeep at Mi Ton. Keep it low-key; we need to leave the command center discreetly."
The Tactical Nuclear Weapon was immensely powerful. I couldn't just sit in the command center waiting for death; if I died, chaos would ensue, severely impacting the battlefield situation. If I quietly left and commanded remotely, I wouldn't have to worry about the command issues anymore.
My confidant shot me a knowing glance and stealthily went out to prepare the vehicle, ready to take me for a tactical retreat. In the busy center, a low-profile Jeep drove away, while an optical camouflage UFO silently followed in its wake.
William watched Anthony and the command center's communications with a heart full of conflicting emotions, unsure of what to say. Was it really another Nuclear Weapon? Just recently, the Metropolis Port had experienced a nuclear explosion. Was the Military-Industrial Complex planning to replicate that nuclear explosion in their own Great Federation, Sherwood District?
Anthony didn't dwell on such thoughts; everything was just part of the mission. He turned back and patted William on the shoulder. "Let's go; it's all for the Great Federation." His heart and mind were at odds.
