In the Divine Magic World, Xu Lie shimmered into existence, arriving for a journey that also served as a learning experience. Within the company, many senior actors had ample points, and the grand hall was bustling with various shops—some selling hot pot, others offering books, and even a few providing travel services.
Prior to this, after completing his first Script World, Xu Lie encountered a senior actor who introduced himself as Old Fang in the company hall. Old Fang explained that those offering travel services were influential figures with plenty of points, having transformed entire worlds for fellow actors to explore. However, the prices were steep; just the round-trip ticket cost two thousand points. Of this amount, only one thousand points went to the senior actors, while the other thousand covered the company's expenses for world transportation services.
For actors, visiting only the Script Worlds they had previously performed in required no expenditure—this was a benefit of being an actor. However, traveling to unfamiliar worlds necessitated spending money. The cost for world transportation was five hundred points for arrival and one thousand points for departure.
The place where Xu Lie found himself resembled a divine realm, suspended high in the sky as if he were amidst the stars. The sun and moon felt close enough to touch yet did not radiate heat. The vast land below was obscured from view, revealing only hints of lush greens and earthy yellows.
Soon enough, someone awaited his arrival—a man dressed in a robe, stroking his goat-like beard with his left hand as he approached briskly. His demeanor was exceedingly respectful: "Welcome, Outer God, to our realm. My name is Tuha. By the grace of His Divine Majesty, I am responsible for diplomatic relations in the divine realm. During your visit as an Outer God, I will do my utmost to assist you with any needs or questions you may have."
Before Xu Lie's arrival, a Bionic Person responsible for answering queries about travel had informed him that "Outer God" was a term used to refer to actor travelers. The so-called Divine Emperor was the senior actor who had modified this world.
In worlds managed by such influential figures, other actors could simply enjoy themselves. They could even indulge in earthly activities without much concern—as long as they did not cause chaos in the divine realm, there would generally be no issues. Even within the divine realm, as long as one did not go too far overboard, the deities there would respond favorably to an Outer God due to their status and the assurances from senior actors.
They could even share some of their faith with travelers to allow them a taste of divine life for a brief period. However, Xu Lie was not particularly interested in this aspect; he had come primarily for the magic of this place.
"Tuha," he said, "please find me a place to stay first. Then bring me all the Magic Books and scrolls that you have available for Outer Gods."
Tuha bowed respectfully, placing his hands together at his forehead and slowly lowering them—a gesture Xu Lie did not understand but assumed was some form of divine greeting. Once Tuha completed his ceremonial gesture, he respectfully inquired, "What kind of environment does Outer God prefer?"
The divine realm is vast, with the Misty Yunshan attracting many who call themselves Sword Immortals, such as the Outer God. There are also places like the Azure Serenity Lake, the underwater Dragon Palace, and the deep caves known as the Butcher's Graveyard.
Xu Lie understood that these were likely some Senior Actors from the cultivation world who had traveled here. "I prefer tranquility, so I'll choose the lakeside," he decided. As for what Tuha mentioned about the Butcher's Graveyard, he felt a twinge of curiosity, but living there was out of the question.
"Please follow me," Tuha said, pulling out a token engraved with a Mysterious Rune from within his robe. He waved it gently, and space opened up as if a door had been drawn from thin air. On the other side lay a serene and beautiful lake.
Tuha stepped through first, leading the way, while Xu Lie followed closely behind. In an instant, they transitioned through space and arrived at Azure Serenity Lake.
This place was picturesque, resembling an elegant landscape painting. The crystal-clear water revealed various graceful fish swimming beneath the surface, allowing Xu Lie to truly understand the meaning behind Kong Yan's words about having no reliance.
