I can fly, and so can Reiner, but what about the other wizards? They might not be able to fly, you know? So when we chose the location for the Exchange Conference, we opted for a beautiful spot, the Three Mountains and Two Lakes. 0

The honest Beric was easily fooled by Teacher Inquilinar and didn’t feel too disappointed; he excitedly rushed into the portal, exclaiming, "I want to see the scenery!" Inquilinar smiled and followed him in. After a moment of disorienting change, the scenery solidified before them, leaving Inquilinar utterly astonished! 0

Beric was equally dumbfounded and tugged at his teacher's sleeve. "Where are the Three Mountains and Two Lakes? There are only two mountains!" 0

The audience burst into laughter at this unexpected twist. It was such a swift slap in the face that it caught everyone off guard; Inquilinar's expression must have been quite painful! 0

Inquilinar’s dignity was clearly at stake now. It was hilarious, especially with little Beric’s question that landed a direct hit on Inquilinar. 0

Wasn’t the pace a bit too fast? I thought it would follow a traditional storyline where the teacher guides the apprentice step by step until they reach the climax of the Mage Conference. Shouldn't such a grand event be saved for later in the story? 0

The camera captured Inquilinar and Beric’s bewildered expressions, prompting more laughter from the audience as they sent out Danmaku teasing them. 0

In an instant, as the camera shifted, it revealed Inquilinar and Beric’s perspective of what looked like a construction site for the Exchange Conference. The intensity of Danmaku decreased noticeably, as many viewers were clearly taken aback. 0

Before them were two towering mountains and two serene lakes. But that wasn’t all; what was truly outrageous was a large iron building on the edge of a small hill, resembling an assembly line. 0

Three-meter-tall stone figures were continuously transporting parts of the hill into the iron building, giving birth to new stone beings. The newly created stone figures then joined other teams to begin constructing high-rise buildings. 0

The gradually diminishing height of the small hill seemed to silently convey to everyone that the mountain missing from the Three Mountains and Two Lakes had all become stone figures. 0

The flowing assembly line and stone figures laying bricks and tiles made several completed high-rises increasingly familiar to the audience. 0

"Is this really a magical fantasy show? Are we sure it’s not some large-scale civil engineering enrollment advertisement?" 0

"This is ridiculous; this magic seems too effective! It saves so much on costs—no labor costs needed at all! Just turn mountains into stone figures that don’t eat or drink or require wages; capitalists must be crying with envy." 0

"Honestly, I was just watching a show on a construction site earlier; our foreman was watching too. When we got to this part, his gaze towards us became increasingly unsettling." 0

"You’re all too limited in your thinking; this is magic! If we could scale this up, refine its appearance a bit more, wouldn’t it be possible to use it like a giant robot?" 0

The dusty construction site made Inquilinar particularly uncomfortable; after seventy years of Mage Exchange Conferences, why did this place feel so unfamiliar? 0

If it weren't for one of the mountain peaks, where a particularly familiar Starry Tea Tree still stood, he would have almost doubted whether he had come to the right place. 0

Two wizards were enthusiastically discussing the Truth Gate when they noticed a flash of light from the teleportation array and instinctively turned their gazes. Soon, they recognized an old acquaintance and quickly greeted him: "Mr. Inquilinar." 0

Inquilinar nodded in confusion, acknowledging their presence, and then stepped forward a couple of paces. "What happened here? Why has it changed so much?" 0

The wizards could understand Inquilinar's feelings; when he had arrived here not long ago, he had felt just as bewildered. It took him two days to gradually accept that they were renovating the dormitories. 0

"This is where we will be staying," one of the wizards explained. "A lot of magic has been used here, making life much more convenient." 0

The other wizard agreed, "Yes, it's so much better compared to the previous Exchange Conference. I still remember how we had to borrow the wooden houses you conjured with your Wood Magic every time we attended. Now we finally have a place to stay overnight." 0
