Oh? Has he finally arrived? Xu Lie casually glanced around, engaged in a discussion about Inquilinar and Danmaku. He stood up, stretched lazily, and prepared to greet his counterpart.
To be more precise, he was ready to step into the spotlight, making a memorable impression on the audience. His previous show, "Black and White," had received a low personal rating from him. Xu Lie had reflected carefully on this, considering two possibilities: either he hadn’t appeared enough or his character felt too disjointed.
Learning from this experience, he decided not to hold back this time; a grand entrance was in order. To ensure he left a deep and lasting impression on the viewers, Xu Lie went all out. He donned a shimmering golden robe inspired by the Seven Stars from the world of Shendai and confidently called for Reiner as he stepped outside, accompanied by a swirling black mist.
The black mist was also one of the three founders of the Mage Exchange Conference, the same friend Reiner often spoke of—an expert in Dark Magic with a penchant for mischief and jokes. He appeared much more serious in demeanor, an elderly man with black hair that seemed oddly youthful, as if he were resisting aging by dyeing his hair.
Regardless, he certainly looked more respectable than the Purple-Haired Elder or the Red-Haired Old Man. As Xu Lie walked outside, many passing wizards greeted him warmly. During this past month, Xu Lie had not wasted any time; he had engaged in discussions with various wizards about different kinds of knowledge.
His company had purchased the Legendary Mage title, which came with experience points that allowed him to share valuable insights with wizards at the early stages of their magical journey. As a result, many wizards had benefited from Xu Lie’s teachings, gaining new understandings or resolving past dilemmas that had troubled them.
It could be said that Xu Lie’s reputation was soaring, rivaling that of the original three founders of the Exchange Conference. Many wizards even tacitly agreed that Xu Lie would undoubtedly become an extraordinary Grand Mage in the future.
As Inquilinar arrived with his apprentice Beric to inquire about what was happening, they witnessed this scene unfold. Xu Lie appeared to be in his element, accompanied by Reiner and the black mist—two old friends—radiating charisma and popularity that left Inquilinar stunned.
Who is this person? If an outsider were to see this, they might think that the entire Mage Exchange Conference belonged to him! Clearly, Inquilinar's concerns were valid; his apprentice Beric was thinking just that: “Teacher, didn’t you say that the Exchange Conference was initiated by you three? Why does it look like this young man is running things?”
Inquilinar shared his confusion as well, his expression one of doubt. However, some keen-eyed audience members recognized Xu Lie.
“Brothers! Look who I’ve discovered! An alien! An alien who can use magic!”
"I heard the Second Prince can use magic," someone remarked.
"What are you all talking about?" another replied.
"They must be discussing how this actor has played various roles in other dramas. Honestly, I'm quite interested in this actor too; he must have portrayed some deeply memorable characters to attract so many viewers."
After enduring multiple trials in the Script World, no matter how outrageous or dense the audience's comments became, they had no effect on Xu Lie anymore.
With remarkable skill, he blocked the upper half of the barrage with his mind to avoid obstructing his view. At the same time, Xu Lie approached Inquilinar. "Welcome, Mr. Inquilinar, and this gentleman here, Mr. Beric."
After exchanging greetings, he introduced himself.
Beric felt a bit flattered and secretly thrilled; he had never been addressed so formally as Mr. Beric before.
Inquilinar seemed puzzled. "Um, Mr. Xu Lie? Why is this entire mountain turned into stone golems?"
As a Grand Mage, Inquilinar had enough insight to notice such things.
It wasn't exactly a secret form of magic. Many mages experimented with golems made from various materials—iron, copper, concrete—there were countless possibilities.
