Xu Lie added a bolt of lightning and then shifted his gaze away from the Magic Mirror in the hands of the Female Mage. The other mages were still watching with great interest; Xu Lie was not wrong—human hearts are treacherous. These nobles actually expected us to offer an apology with a Magic Item? We cannot indulge them. They have already witnessed the disparity in strength between us, yet they still harbor such greedy thoughts. It is hard to imagine what unreasonable demands they would make if Mr. Xu Lie had not intervened.
Xu Lie, not distracted by the simple flattery, remembered the important matters at hand: Enough of this idle chatter; we should focus on Enrollment. Several Enrollment teachers recalled the complete process. Typically, the Enrollment Flying Ship would fly directly to King's City, while other teachers proficient in Flying Magic or Living Wing Magic would have to work a bit harder.
From King's City as the center, four Enrollment teachers would fly out in fixed directions, landing for Enrollment whenever they encountered a town or village. This was unavoidable; currently, Xu Lie did not possess any magical paper or pen that could automatically write down the names of awakened mages and send them via owl for enrollment. They could only have the Enrollment teachers fly out personally.
Under Xu Lie's instructions, they gathered Magical Rice and corresponding Growth Potions, along with Contact Magical Tools. They proceeded to the bottom of the Flying Ship, boarding a smaller Flying Ship to head in their designated direction. The small Flying Ship was just under a hundred meters long and had been designed with spatial expansion, making it spacious enough to accommodate students.
Jia Er was the mage responsible for Enrollment in the eastern direction of Golden Sun King City. He had a kind face and a head of yellow hair. By modern aesthetic standards, at first glance, Jia Er resembled a somewhat unsavory uncle. However, his honest demeanor gave him an air of a middle-aged rogue who had turned over a new leaf upon closer inspection.
Not long after taking off, they spotted a small village. Villages near King's City were also under the jurisdiction of the Flying Ship and did not require the Enrollment teachers to land. After flying for some distance, they came across a small town. Jia Er did not land but instead took out a finger-sized Mud Doll and tossed it down.
After releasing it, he continued flying without stopping. The Mud Doll grew larger in the wind and soon transformed into a five-meter-tall Mud Puppet, towering over the walls of the small town. The sudden appearance of such a creature startled the guards on the wall, causing confusion and chaos.
Fortunately, the Mud Doll did not attack or cause destruction; it simply followed Jia Er's pre-set magic instructions, striking its hands against the ground and channeling a bit of magic into the earth. This caused a slight tremor in the nearby ground.
No buildings were toppled, but the terrifying commotion was still quite frightening!
To an ordinary person, it seemed as if this Mud Golem had pressed down on the ground, causing an earthquake. Although it was just a tremor, the Mud Golem had indeed made contact, as if it were dancing on the ground. Wouldn't that shake the entire city to its core?
The city guards were even more terrified; they hastily discarded their weapons and armor, scrambling to flee. They felt they could no longer stay on the city walls. Who knew if the walls would collapse and bury them inside?
In reality, the Mud Doll controlled by Jia Er was simply following Xu Lie's request to greet everyone beforehand. After delivering the greeting, the Mud Doll emitted Jia Er's Enrollment speech from within, identical to what Xu Lie had said above the royal city, without a single word changed. Finally, it added one more line: students interested in enrollment should wait outside the city in three days for Jia Er's return.
This barely calmed the fears of everyone in the small town. Not only Jia Er acted this way; the Enrollment teachers responsible for the other three directions did similarly. They either sent out familiars or summoned magical beasts, each showcasing their unique abilities.
Xu Lie's requirement was that within seven days, they needed to traverse the entire Golden Sun Kingdom back and forth while also accepting students. It was clear that flying from one city to another or from village to village for enrollment would not be feasible in such a short time.
