Inquilinar held a deep admiration for Xu Lie's training philosophy. He had enlisted Beric to take the lead in the assault, aiming to provide the Little Apprentice with some combat experience.
"Yes!" Beric responded with his usual booming voice.
Inquilinar didn't let the loudness bother him; the excitement in the air allowed him to momentarily overlook such trivialities.
With enthusiasm radiating from him, Beric gathered all his magical energy, raised his hands high, and struck down forcefully while shouting out his mentor's signature spell: Endless Flowing Flames!
In that instant, the air ignited, giving birth to countless orange flames that danced wildly. The weeds turned to ash, and amidst the swirling dust, a fierce flame emerged; raindrops evaporated into vapor before transforming into tiny sparks.
All the flames that sprang forth coalesced under Beric's will. Like grains of sand forming a tower and small things gathering into a cloak, numerous tiny flames merged, flowed, and burned steadily, forming an entire torrent known as the Blazing River!
The magnificent Blazing River stretched endlessly, its width and height measuring several dozen meters. With an unstoppable force, it surged toward the Evil Mages.
The Evil Mages were struck by an illusion, feeling as if they were not facing a mere magician but a towering volcano on the verge of eruption!
What was rushing toward them like a Blazing River was no different from molten lava spilling from that volcano!
"Damn it! Block it! Hold it back!"
Those who could still fight pulled out their trump cards without hesitation.
"Inquilinar! This is Inquilinar's magic! I've seen it before!"
The cries of the Evil Mages echoed in desperation as they fought with all their might, unleashing their hidden powers.
Gao Mi summoned a one-time Skeleton Giant; a Mad Witch formed from the endless resentment of countless villagers on the brink of death; and the Blood-Red Sky Curtain that drained the lifeblood of the small town.
Finally, they managed to halt the Blazing River, preventing it from advancing any further.
Before the Evil Mages could catch their breath, Beric was far from finished. With Inquilinar’s protection bolstering him, his previously exhausted magical energy quickly replenished. "It's not over yet!"
Endless Flowing Flames—its essence was not just the Blazing River; it flowed endlessly.
As long as Beric had sufficient magical power, the Blazing River would continue to surge forth, ceaselessly flowing. Accompanied by the ongoing searing heat of magical flames, the Blazing River crashed forward for an extended period.
The Skeleton Giant's legs sank into the Blazing River as it tried to stretch its arms to grab Beric and disrupt his casting. However, it suffered greatly from the burning and impact of the Blazing River.
With one misstep, it collapsed entirely, its bones threatening to turn to ash.
The female demon was utterly helpless. After enduring a series of soul-harming attacks, she transformed into a vast expanse of azure smoke within the Blazing River. Only the blood-red curtain could barely hold back the onslaught for a moment.
The audience was filled with excitement, eager to jump in and kick Beric out to take his place!
"Wow! So cool! This episode has truly maxed out the special effects! Just think about how much money they must have spent on those long-lasting flame effects!"
"Endless Flowing Flames is incredible! Beric just casually casts a spell named after the show itself. How can that Evil Mage possibly withstand it?"
"Look closely at Blazing River. Every single flame dances differently, with varying directions and frequencies! This is top-tier special effects, and it lasts so long! Following this series is totally worth it!"
"I actually think the Skeleton Giant on the Evil Mage's side is even cooler. A real man should be piloting a giant mech!"
