The Jet Black Blade, capable of cleaving mountains, met the Golden Giant Hand like an egg striking a rock. Upon contact, it shattered into a myriad of dark elements. Not only did it fail to cancel each other out, but it couldn't even slow the Golden Giant Hand by the slightest bit.
The Jet Black Blade crumbled instantly, while the Golden Giant Hand radiated a divine light, reaching out towards Kefute with an ethereal grace.
"Damn it!" The leader of Kefute watched in horror as this magic unfolded. Forced to halt his transformation, he reverted from mist back to human form. He retaliated by unleashing a barrage of Dark Magic in an attempt to counter the Golden Giant Hand.
At the same time, he shouted at the gathered Evil Mages, "What are you all standing around for?! If you keep hesitating, you'll all die here! Get moving!"
The Evil Mages who had followed Kefute to attack Truth School's northern front finally snapped out of their stupor, shaken from the shock brought by the Great Library. In order to save their own lives, they pulled out their strongest spells and unleashed various forms of Dark Magic against Xu Lie.
Xu Lie stood unmoving like a mountain, offering no resistance yet instilling despair in all the Evil Mages. The Great Library echoed once more with the sound of turning pages as ten spellbooks unleashed ten Golden Giant Hands, shimmering with radiant light.
In an instant, the entire realm was illuminated as if coated in gold. Alongside these ten spellbooks were other Magic Books. The wrists of the ten Golden Giant Hands were adorned with various spells. Wind, Thunder, Water, Fire—each obliterating the spells cast by the Evil Mages, allowing the Golden Giant Hands to effortlessly seize every one of them!
Even Kefute, who fought desperately against his fate, was not spared. No matter how many spells he cast, the automatically opening spellbooks countered with corresponding magic.
In the end, he too fell into the grasp of the Golden Giant Hand. This hand not only sparkled with effects but also bore sealing power; once gripped tightly, it halted all magical energy within him and prevented any items from being summoned.
"Ah!! My bones! It hurts! I feel like I'm breaking!"
"Spare me! Please! I was wrong! I am willing to submit to Truth School! Don’t—don’t kill me!"
The Evil Mages caught in the clutches of the Golden Giant Hand all cried out in anguish. Only those who had undergone magical enhancements had any hope left for mercy. Those who had not were already in such pain that they lost consciousness and felt nothing at all.
Xu Lie would not spare these Evil Mages out of mercy. With only a few thousand first-year students enrolled, did Truth School really lack people?
Before the Evil Mages could continue their ear-piercing howls, Xu Lie focused his thoughts, and the Golden Giant Hands clenched tightly!
In an instant, the entire Northern Battlefield shifted from chaos to silence. It was as if a nightclub, filled with the frenzied beats of a DJ, had suddenly lost power.
Only the spectators' Danmaku remained active in this space.
