"Monroe, come here for a moment," Count Smithan called out, waving her over.

Count Smithan pulled his daughter aside, and they spoke in hushed tones.
They regarded Jiang Chen as a Huaxia Martial Artist. While they did not feel fear, they were certainly curious; it was clear that Jiang Chen had come to find them tonight.
"Could it be that the Huaxia kid knows our identity?" Count Smithan whispered.
"That shouldn't be the case. Our bloodline and Huaxia Martial Arts have never intersected. After the ball, we can have a chat with him. However, I sense that his bloodline is remarkably pure. If we could use his bloodline to conceive a child, that child would surely become a Blood Child of our clan," Monroe said, her eyes glinting slightly at the thought.
"Absolutely not! No matter how pure his bloodline is, it should only be used for cultivation purposes and not for bearing offspring. He is Huaxia People, and the bloodline of Huaxia People cannot be mixed with ours," Count Smithan quickly replied.
Monroe pondered this but did not argue back; however, her expression revealed that she was not ready to give up.

The current Blood Clan Leader had been in office for fifty years. When the previous leader had served for eighty years, they began determining candidates for the next Blood Child.
