Before long, Bai Jie found a piece of crystal that was oddly shaped. Zheng Chengxiu also dug up a piece, and he couldn't take his eyes off it. As they moved further, the excitement was palpable; their surroundings were filled with crystals.

The quality of these crystals was truly impressive. "Can we use them to make lenses?" Yu Suihuan recalled a time in college when she accompanied her roommate to get glasses, and the salesperson had promoted crystal lenses.
"Yes! And there are crystal tableware, crystal cups, chandeliers, and decorations!" Bai Jie chimed in with a smile, her eyes glinting with thoughts of profit.
"Exactly! And crystals can be used for energy conversion. I remember that crystals can convert electrical energy into light energy, thermal energy, biological energy, and magnetic energy. Their applications are incredibly broad!" As Yu Suihuan spoke, she too became excited; this trip was turning out to be worthwhile.
Though Zheng Chengxiu didn't fully grasp their talk about energy and sound waves, he understood that it could be turned into money. If that was the case, they were one step closer to their goal.
"What should we do now? Should we continue up the mountain?" Yu Suihuan asked calmly, seeking the opinions of the other two.
"Let's keep going! Since we're here, we might as well see if there's something even better up ahead!"
After a whole day of exploration, they could basically confirm that this was a crystal mine; the higher they climbed, the better the quality of the crystals and the richer their colors became. However, it seemed that they wouldn't just float on the surface; digging would be necessary.
By the time Yu Suihuan lay on the heated bed in her small courtyard, her legs felt almost useless. She had tried to teleport within her space but had not succeeded.
Though blessed by the Spirit Spring Water, Yu Suihuan still felt a dull ache in her calves and thighs. Lying on the kang, lost in thought, she absentmindedly chewed on the petals from nearby flowers.
Suddenly, she heard shouting from outside the small courtyard. Frowning, Yu Suihuan reluctantly got up to open the door.
"Hello, Yu Zhiqing!"
Standing before her was a new female educated youth from Jing City, carrying gifts in her hands.
"How could Sister Lianzhi just let anyone in?" she silently complained while forcing a smile onto her face.
"Hello! We just arrived and wanted to thank you for guiding us the other day. We also hope to become friends."
The three female educated youths all had a certain grace about them and seemed to come from well-off families. They spoke directly, without beating around the bush, which Yu Suihuan found quite agreeable.
As the saying goes, one should not strike a smiling face. Besides, she would be going to university in Jing City soon; if she ended up staying there, these girls would be familiar faces. Who knows? If they came from influential backgrounds, they could become valuable allies!
With this thought in mind, Yu Suihuan smiled and became more enthusiastic.
"Please come in!"
She led them into the small courtyard, walking ahead as their guide.
"Wow, Yu Zhiqing, your home is beautiful!"
"Thank you!"
Once inside, Yu Suihuan took out a basket filled with various candies and snacks and pushed it toward them.
"Wow, I've never seen this before!"
With more women around, the atmosphere became lively as they stuffed gifts into Yu Suihuan's hands without hesitation and eagerly began rummaging through the basket for treats.
