"Hey, are you tired of living, kid?"
"Yes, I’m tired of living. Just hurry up and kill me!"
"You little brat!"
This guy is tough as nails; even after being caught, he refuses to back down.
Wang Zhao reached out and unbuckled his belt, binding the boy's hands behind his back. After finishing, he kicked the boy's backside.
"Don't hit my brother! I'll fight you!"
Suddenly, a shadow resembling Xiao Hei emerged from nowhere and bit down on Wang Zhao's wrist, refusing to let go.
"Ouch! You little rascal, that’s quite a bite!"
Wang Zhao winced in pain but didn’t want to hurt the child, so he endured the bite.
"You little brat, are you a dog or something?"
Wang Zhao was sweating from the bite but couldn’t bring himself to retaliate against the child.
"Hey, do you two want something to eat? If you want food, just speak up!"
Yu Suihuan noticed that both children looked emaciated and ghostly pale; it was clear they were starving.
The younger one finally spoke up.
"Can you give us food?"
"Of course!"
This Wa Zi was no more than four years old; although his voice was still childish, he had a fierce demeanor.
"Dog Egg, don’t listen to them! They’re not good people!"
The boy struggled on the ground, his long hair dragging along and covering his face, making it impossible to see his features.
Little One listened to the boy’s warning but was about to lunge forward to bite again when Wang Zhao blocked him with an arm.
"You little brat, are you coming again? If you keep this up, I won’t give you any food!"
"Zhao, take them up there; this place is creepy!"
Yu Suihuan suggested leading the two kids along a small path. Standing around a bunch of graves at night while talking like this wasn’t right at all.
These two are definitely fake. What if they disturb the peace? What if they really come out later?
How can you give me something to eat?
The little guy, demanding food with such confidence, made Yu Suihuan and Wang Zhao exchange glances, finding him quite amusing.
Call me Daddy, and I'll give you something to eat!
This wasn’t actually Wang Zhao’s intention; he was just annoyed that the little brat had bitten his wrist hard enough to draw blood, so he was teasing him on purpose.
Daddy!
The little voice called out without hesitation, leaving Wang Zhao stunned.
He only wanted to tease him; even if he didn’t call him that, he would still give him something to eat.
Where’s the food?
Xiao Wa stretched out his dirty little hand, with long nails and black mud stuck in the crevices.
Wow, you’re really dirty. How can you eat like that?
You don’t need to worry about that. Are you going to give it or not?
Wang Zhao was just dropping Yu Suihuan off today and didn’t actually have any food on him. He awkwardly glanced at Yu Suihuan.
Here you go!
Yu Suihuan understood and took a few candies from his bag, placing them in the child’s hand.
Let my brother go!
The child demanded assertively, looking like a little adult. Yu Suihuan thought he resembled the Red Boy from "Journey to the West."
Alright, I’ll let your brother go, but you can’t bite me anymore!
Don’t worry! A man keeps his word; I promise I won’t bite you again!
Xiao Wa declared confidently, showing his determination despite his circumstances.
What about you? Are you still going to run away?
Wang Zhao kicked the boy lightly on the backside.
Don’t you dare lay a hand on me! A gentleman may be killed but never humiliated!
"Oh, come on," Wang Zhao said, feeling exasperated. This boy was like a rock in a cesspool—stinky and hard.
"Alright, just let him go. It's uncomfortable to keep him pinned down like that!" Yu Suihuan spoke up, and how could Wang Zhao ignore that?
Reluctantly, he stepped forward and released the boy.
