Liu Yingyu squeezed in closer, pushing herself against Yu Suihuan. With no space available, she forced her way into a spot between Huo Yaojun and Yu Suihuan, eliminating the gap that had been there.
The moment their legs touched, Huo Yaojun felt a jolt run through his body, as if he had been electrocuted. A tingling sensation spread throughout him, leaving his body slightly stiff.
"Take all of these!" Yu Suihuan opened her hand, letting Liu Yingyu take the candy. "This girl has no sense of boundaries."
"Oh, no need! I want two! Here, this one is for you!" Liu Yingyu took two pieces of candy from Yu Suihuan's palm, handing one to Huo Yaojun.
As she reached out, she inadvertently leaned most of her body against Yu Suihuan, pushing herself right into Huo Yaojun's embrace.
Huo Yaojun found himself enveloped by something soft, filling his arms completely. The faint scent of milk wafted from the little woman in his hold, making him want to steal a kiss.
Yu Suihuan felt uncomfortable and struggled to get up, her face flushed with embarrassment. "I'm not hungry; I'm going to check over there!"
She even regretted coming here; why waste time when she could be mining in her space?
"Yu Suihuan!" Huo Yaojun called out as he followed her.
"I'm sorry; my cousin has been spoiled by our family since she was little. She doesn't mean any harm," he sincerely apologized. He liked Yu Suihuan but didn’t want to rely on anyone else’s help.
"Oh, it's nothing. I'm just... not feeling well and want to go back!"
What could she say? That she minded the physical contact? Wouldn't that seem overly dramatic?
She could sense that Liu Yingyu truly had no ill intentions.
