Immediately, she changed her grip to a thigh and lunged at Huo Yaojun's feet.

He bent down to help Hei Dou Niang up, deliberately stepping back to maintain some distance.

Wang Jianjun's injury was something Huo Yaojun was aware of. He had also heard about Hei Dou Niang's relentless complaints.
Upon hearing her words, Huo Yaojun became displeased.

"Are you alright?" Huo Yaojun asked softly as he approached Xu Zhuzhen.
Xu Zhuzhen trembled with anger at the woman, but she had just managed to calm down.
"Thank you, Captain Huo. I'm fine!"
"Then let me take you home!"
By escorting Xu Zhuzhen back, Huo Yaojun would have the chance to connect with Yu Suihuan. He couldn't let this opportunity slip away.
Xu Zhuzhen remained silent, allowing Huo Yaojun to accompany her.
"Don't take it to heart. Hei Dou Niang just lost her son; she might just need time to accept it."
"Yes, I understand."
