"The god-like man I'm talking about is even more powerful than a superhero," Ma'erka insisted.
The group fell silent, feeling as if they were not on the same wavelength as Ma'erka. Most of them dismissed her words; if she had mentioned martial artists or people with special abilities, perhaps they could believe it. But when it came to gods, no one took her seriously.
"Let's stop talking about these abstract things. Ma'erka, why not be more realistic? Next weekend in Paris, I'll introduce you to a handsome guy. You like martial arts, right? He's a martial arts master who can take on a hundred strong men all by himself," one of Ma'erka's flamboyant male friends joked.
"Really? Is he that amazing?" Everyone was skeptical.
"If you don't believe me, just come with me next weekend to see for yourselves. After all, we're all going to support Ma'erka at her concert," he replied.
Meanwhile, on the island, Jiang Chen and Monroe were also enjoying the sea breeze as they waited silently.

It would be better than risking your life," Monroe advised kindly.
"There is no 'in case,'" Jiang Chen said flatly, showing no signs of worry.
Monroe was left speechless and unsure of what to say next. She felt anxious; as a member of the blood clan herself, she had never encountered their Ancestor before. Regardless of today's outcome, it seemed unlikely to benefit her in any way.
