Monroe stood behind Jiang Chen, gazing at the man's silhouette, momentarily lost in thought.
"It seems that you Huaxia truly have hidden talents. At such a young age, you possess this level of Magic. The masters of Huaxia Magic I encountered hundreds of years ago were not much different from you. I never expected that the legacy of Huaxia has not been broken," Blood Ancestor said softly, as if reflecting on the past.
"However, this is good. I haven't stretched my muscles in centuries; it's rare to find a worthy opponent."
Suddenly, Blood Ancestor laughed, a chilling sound that sent shivers down the spine.
The strength of Blood Ancestor was comparable to Chi Xu Shen, whom Jiang Chen had met on Island Nation; indeed, he was a top-tier expert on Earth. Yet in Jiang Chen's eyes, he was nothing to be concerned about.
Jiang Chen's only worry was the sheer number of the blood clan. If he killed their Ancestor and the blood clan members without any restraints, they could become a troublesome force if they decided to cause chaos.
Of course, Jiang Chen had ways to eliminate them, using bloodline tracking for a pursuit, but that would consume an immense amount of mental energy. He was reluctant to employ such extraordinary methods just to obtain the Divine Bone Order.
Blood Ancestor transformed, his arms stretching into crimson wings as his body grew to a height of ten zhang. His wings spread out to thirty zhang, resembling a demon descending upon the earth.
Ma'erka and her companions were approaching the island on their yacht when they suddenly saw this scene and quickly halted their advance.
"What is that? My God, how can there be such a large bird?"
"That's a demon; it can't possibly be a bird."
"How can there be demons? It must be some creature we've never seen before."
The group was stunned and began discussing among themselves, yet none considered turning back; instead, they pulled out their phones to record videos.
"Hey, is there someone up in the air?" a bikini-clad beauty next to Ma'erka exclaimed while looking through binoculars.
"Oh my gosh, that monster seems to be coming towards us!"
"It looks like it's chasing someone?"
"Quick, let's go! If that monster spots us, we're done for!"
Jiang Chen soared into the sky on his sword, teasing Blood Ancestor as he chased him like a great bird. Meanwhile, Blood Ancestor unleashed fiery Blood Qi from his mouth, scorching the vegetation on the island.
As Jiang Chen skimmed over the sea on his sword at high speed, he left behind deep water trails while Blood Ancestor flapped his wings repeatedly to close in on him.
Jiang Chen's speed was remarkable as he reached Ma'erka's yacht. With a wave of his hand, a curtain of water rose up like a pot lid, trapping the yacht inside. Following that, an icy chill spread from Dawson's cold aura; the water curtain froze over, leaving those on the yacht unable to see outside and filled with panic. Only Ma'erka stood frozen in place, her eyes wide open as she struggled to comprehend what had just happened.
In that fleeting moment, she had seen a face she would never forget for the rest of her life.
"What should we do? I'm freezing! What just happened? I think I saw someone standing on a sword."
"I saw it too! It looked like an Asian face; I don't know if it's Huaxia People or Islanders!"
"Oh my God, he can't be thinking of murder, can he? How on earth did he manage to freeze the seawater?"
"Is he really a god?"
"Ma'erka, did you see that? That man can't be the god-like figure you mentioned, right?"
"Ma'erka, what's wrong? Are you scared?"
