The blinding light faded, and Xiao Meng felt as if she had been thrown into a kaleidoscope, spinning and swirling in a riot of colors.
The cacophony of a hundred Duck Chorus voices vanished, replaced by an eerie silence, reminiscent of the calm before a storm, sending chills down her spine.
Once she finally steadied herself, she realized she was in a strange space. Three Hundred Mirrors appeared out of thin air, suspended around her like some malevolent altar.
Each mirror reflected the same scene: the Starry Marriage Contract, marred by a long, jagged crack that resembled a gruesome scar across the once flawless Contract Totem.
Beneath the surface of the mirrors, ancient text glimmered with a faint light: "The Twin Contract requires an eternal time-space anchor."
What on earth?
An eternal time-space anchor?
That sounded even more absurd than "next time for sure"!
Xiao Meng mentally scoffed, feeling as though she had fallen into some ridiculous word game.
Suddenly, the scene in the mirrors shifted dramatically!
A black vortex erupted from beneath Shadow Azure's feet, like a greedy beast opening its gaping maw to swallow the Sunshine Star Sand Baby whole!
What?!
Xiao Meng was left dumbfounded, her jaw nearly dropping to the ground.
This plot twist was far too unexpected!
After all that buildup with the Star Guardian and the Star Sand Baby, it turned out this thing was actually meant to feed the boss?
"Sunshine!" Xiao Meng exclaimed, wanting to rush forward but found herself bound by an invisible force, unable to move.
At that moment, she felt a surge of heat within her, as if something were trying to break free from her body.
Instinctively, she tore open her Miko Robe to reveal her chest.
Three radiant lines intertwined on her fair skin like an ancient spell, emanating mysterious light.
These were her Three Lifetimes of Memories: Ancient Priestess, Future Scientist, and Otherworldly Princess—three lives and three destinies converging at this moment.
"The cries of Xing Li are the countdown of time and space..." Xiao Meng murmured, her voice trembling as she finally understood the meaning behind it all.
However, before she could fully process this revelation, she noticed Xing Wen's Lock Core—the once shining Star Crystal—now entangled by a black Umbilical Cord.
That Umbilical Cord was the link connecting Shadow Azure and the Star Sand Baby!
Goodness, so this was the real killer move!
Xiao Meng cursed inwardly; this twist was even more thrilling than a soap opera!
Just then, an unexpected change occurred!
The devoured Star Sand Baby emitted a faint glow from within Shadow Azure.
Then, in an astonishing turn of events, the Sunlight's Azure Priestess form suddenly spoke up and began to sing an ancient Stardust Lullaby.
The song was ethereal and distant, as if it came from an ancient call, carrying a hint of sorrow yet filled with hope and strength. As the melody resonated, a fragmented voice echoed in Xiao Meng's mind: “The Priestess… Xing Wen… the true Lock Core… is the creator’s… Three Lives Reforged…”
It was Old Grandpa Plugin!
Xiao Meng realized that the fragments of his consciousness had somehow reassembled at that moment!
The Golden Finger was finally online! A surge of joy filled Xiao Meng's heart, as if she had grasped a lifeline. However, before she could revel in her happiness for long, she suddenly saw an unfamiliar scene within Xing Wen.
A frail boy huddled in a dark corner, trembling.
Was that… Black-hearted Grandpa? A jolt ran through Xiao Meng; it was a childhood memory of Black-hearted Grandpa!
“Don’t… don’t come closer…” The boy's voice was weak and trembling, like an injured little beast, evoking deep sympathy.
“Good child, don’t be afraid, I’ll take you home…” A gentle female voice emerged, filled with love and care.
Xiao Meng froze; that voice…
“Xiao Meng, what do you see?” A familiar voice rang in her ear.
Startled, Xiao Meng turned around to find Sunshine standing behind her, looking at her with a complex expression.
“I…” Xiao Meng opened her mouth but didn’t know what to say.
Sunshine reached out, gently caressing Xiao Meng's cheek, his eyes filled with tenderness and pity: “Don’t be afraid; everything will be alright…”
Suddenly, he grasped Xiao Meng's hand tightly, his tone urgent: “Quick, give me the hourglass!” Xiao Meng widened her eyes; this plot twist was more dramatic than a soap opera!
Wait, the hourglass?
What was he thinking giving her the hourglass now? Wasn’t the situation chaotic enough?
“Sunshine, wait! The hourglass isn’t a good thing right now; it…” Before she could finish her sentence, chaos erupted again from Shadow Azure.
He let out a howl that seemed to pierce through eardrums, making one wonder if he was using sound waves as a weapon.
Immediately after, the Star Sand Vortex beneath him began to expand uncontrollably as if it had consumed too much gum, transforming into a massive black hole that threatened to swallow the entire space.
“Time-Space Loop requires the annihilation of all Causal Linkers!” Shadow Azure’s voice echoed like it came from the depths of hell, filled with endless coldness and madness.
A chill shot up Xiao Meng’s spine; this guy was serious!
He intended to clear the field!
In that critical moment, Xiao Meng made a shocking move that stunned everyone, including herself—she tore open her clothes to reveal the glowing Xing Wen on her chest and then… without hesitation, she plunged Xing Wen into her heart!
“Damn!” Xiao Meng cursed inwardly; this pain felt a thousand times worse than heartbreak!
As Xing Wen pierced her heart, a powerful energy erupted instantly. Xiao Meng felt as if her body were about to explode, countless Memory Fragments flashing through her mind like a revolving lantern.
The figure of the Ancient Priestess praying at the altar, the Future Scientist frantically calculating in the laboratory, and the Otherworldly Princess standing alone in the castle… Three different lives, three distinct fates, all converged into a powerful force that surged into her body at this moment.
Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through her back as a cold Black Infant Umbilical Cord slowly pierced her skin, greedily siphoning off her energy like a venomous snake.
At this life-and-death moment, the Black Infant Umbilical Cord that had been entwined around the Star Crystal began to tremble violently, as if sensing some imminent danger.
Then, something incredible happened. The once intact hourglass began to split apart, dividing into three independent entities that floated around Xiao Meng.
At the same time, a crisp shattering sound echoed from afar, reminiscent of glass breaking, sending chills down her spine.

“Xiao Meng, be careful!” Sunshine struggled desperately within the cage but could not break free, helplessly watching as Xiao Meng was drawn into the Star Sand Vortex.
“Sunshine, don’t come over!” Xiao Meng shouted hoarsely.
Yet her voice was drowned out by the roar of the Star Sand Vortex.
In this critical moment, Xiao Meng suddenly felt that the Priestess Power within her seemed to be guiding her to seek something.
Instinctively, she looked up at Sunshine trapped in the Starshine cage.
“Sunshine, tell me, what is the true Lock Core…?”
Sunshine’s eyes were filled with pain and struggle. He seemed to want to say something but hesitated.
“Please say it!” Xiao Meng urged anxiously as the pull of the Star Sand Vortex intensified; she felt herself nearing her limit.
Finally, it seemed Sunshine had made up his mind. He lifted his head sharply and looked at Xiao Meng.
“Xiao Meng, remember… don’t trust anyone…”
