"The Time-Space Loop requires the fusion of the creator's and the priestess's consciousness..." The old man's projection let out a painful howl, his voice becoming intermittent as if it were on the verge of collapse.
Xiao Meng's heart leaped into her throat as she struggled desperately to break free from the grip of the Black Infant Umbilical Cord, but it was futile.
