"Mom, look! Black Infant and I are getting married!" Nursery Rhyme's sweet voice rang out, as if coated in honey, yet it sent chills down one's spine.
The strawberry popsicle in her hand melted into a pool of pink liquid, shimmering with flecks of Xing Sha, dripping through her fingers and pooling on the ground to form a bizarre pattern resembling an ancient sacrificial symbol.
Xiao Meng felt a sudden heat in her chest. Looking down, she saw that the Star Pattern Lock Core on her chest had begun to glow, its light intensifying until it split into two distinctly colored energies—one golden and the other Cang Lan. They twisted around each other like two serpents, entwined yet repelling one another.
Even more strangely, the Xing Wen on Nursery Rhyme's collarbone underwent the same transformation, with both energies flickering and writhing in sync, like twin souls connected in thought but laced with a strange hostility, as if they were destined to clash.
"Twin Fetal Cords... require Sacrifice... the last Keeper of the Flame from the Witch Clan..." The voice of Old Grandpa Plugin crackled intermittently, reminiscent of an old radio filled with static.
He frantically waved a pocket watch that morphed in his hands until it finally turned into a pile of grayish-white powder, scattering in the air. It was vaguely recognizable as the ashes of Star Granny.
The watch's hands eerily pointed to Xiao Meng's seventh rib, as if hiding some earth-shattering secret.
Instinctively, Xiao Meng clutched her chest; pain shot through the area of her seventh rib as if something were trying to break free from within.

The Starry Marriage Contract on his chest also split into two beams of light—one golden and one Cang Lan, resonating with the energies of Xiao Meng and Nursery Rhyme's Xing Wen, yet clashing against each other like three forces engaged in a silent struggle.
Suddenly, a vague shadow emerged from within Nursery Rhyme, becoming clearer until it revealed itself to be Wu Yue!
With disheveled hair and blood-red eyes, she wore an eerie smile that made her resemble a vengeful spirit rising from hell.
In her hand was a Bone Flute, glowing with a ghostly green light. She thrust the flute towards the point where Sunshine and Nursery Rhyme met!
"No—" Xiao Meng screamed in terror but could do nothing to stop what was unfolding.
"Sunshine! Nursery Rhyme!" Her voice echoed within the womb of Xing Sha, tinged with despair and helplessness.
Her screams reverberated off the walls of the echoing chamber, causing her head to buzz with noise. She watched helplessly as sparkling Star Sand Butterflies flew one by one into Nursery Rhyme's nostrils like eager souls rushing for rebirth—a scene that felt like an amplified childhood nightmare!
Suddenly, Nursery Rhyme trembled violently as if struck by lightning.
Her once delicate face turned pale instantly before taking on an eerie shade of blue at an alarming rate.
Then came a sharp "Ka Cha," and her back actually split open!
Not metaphorically—her back truly cracked apart!
A beam of light in the shade of Shadow Azure erupted from that fissure like a volcanic explosion, carrying an overwhelming force capable of destruction.
A beam of light coalesced into a vague humanoid shape, its features indistinct, yet emanating a cold, malevolent aura as if it were a demon from the abyss.
“Twin Fetal Cords... it is about to be born...” Shadow Azure uttered in a low, hoarse voice, grating like sandpaper against glass.
Xiao Meng felt her scalp tingle, a chill racing from her feet straight to her head.
She knew that something terrible was unfolding!
This Shadow Azure was definitely not something good!
Even more bizarrely, the Star Pattern Lock Core on her chest began to throb violently.
What had once been merely an exquisite ornament now pulsed like a living heart, desperately trying to break free from its confines.

“Son of the True Priestess... is here...” The old man's voice grew fainter until it vanished into the air.
Time seemed to freeze as everyone stood stunned by this sudden turn of events.
At that moment, countless specks of starlight burst forth from the old man's pocket watch.
These specks gathered in midair, ultimately coalescing into tiny infants.
Each of those infants bore the face of Black-hearted Grandpa!
Three hundred of them! A full three hundred!
They floated in the air like a swarm of little ghosts, emitting cries akin to those of babies—sounds that sent shivers down one's spine.

Wu Yue, holding the Bone Flute, let out a soul-chilling laugh: "Hehehe... die, all of you!"
"I warned you not to casually make promises," Xiao Meng said, her gaze fixed on the approaching Starlight Babies. Suddenly, she calmed down, countless thoughts flashing through her mind. She knew she had to do something; otherwise, it would all truly be over.
The Starlight Babies opened their tiny mouths, revealing sharp teeth as they lunged toward the Star Pattern Lock Core on Xiao Meng's chest...
