After enjoying a meal at a Western restaurant, the three of them headed to the concert. Qin Xusha also called Ni Xingyi, but naturally, Ni Xingyi was too busy to attend. Although Jiang Chen had already booked the venue at Lirenni Garden, Ni Xingyi was worried that something might go wrong. After all, her enemy Chen Chongchong was at Lirenni Garden, and if Chen Chongchong found out, she would surely do everything possible to obstruct them.
When they arrived at the concert venue, they were greeted by a sea of people. It seemed that Ma'erka's popularity was indeed immense. There were scalpers selling tickets at the entrance. In Huaxia, even the best tickets for a concert still left some distance from the stage, but at foreign concerts, the seats were right next to it. Jiang Lu cheered excitedly as she took out her phone to take selfies with Jiang Chen and Qin Xusha.
Twenty minutes later, the concert began.
Ma'erka made a grand entrance with an energetic opening dance. Jiang Lu stood up and joined other enthusiastic fans in shouting and cheering.
Jiang Chen focused his gaze and realized that Ma'erka was the same woman he had saved last week in the waters off Great Britain. However, he didn't dwell on it for long and watched the concert with great interest.
Ma'erka didn't notice Jiang Chen as she passionately performed. Towards the end of the concert, as per tradition, she decided to invite a lucky fan on stage. Countless fans erupted in excitement, waving their hands and jumping around. Jiang Lu waved her glow stick vigorously in hopes of catching Ma'erka's attention.
As Ma'erka scanned the crowd of fans, she suddenly paused and locked eyes with Jiang Chen. She rubbed her eyes and looked again; it was indeed him.
Last time, she had wondered when she would meet Jiang Chen again; little did she expect to see him at her own concert today. Could it be that this god was her fan?
To Ma'erka, Jiang Chen was indeed like a deity.
In front of everyone, Ma'erka tried to control her emotions as she gracefully walked towards Jiang Chen.
"Brother! Sister Qin! Ma'erka is coming!" Jiang Lu exclaimed excitedly.
As Ma'erka approached, she initially wanted to invite Jiang Chen on stage but noticed his calm demeanor. She realized that even if she invited him, he might not accept her offer. However, Ma'erka was clever; she saw Jiang Lu beside Jiang Chen. They seemed quite familiar with each other—especially since Jiang Lu was screaming and acting like an ecstatic fangirl.
