Jon Delson had no doubt about his master's strength; saying that Jiang Chen was a god would be an understatement.
As Jon and Jiang Chen entered the Delson Family estate, the air was thick with luxury.
“It’s been decades since I last came back, but this place still holds echoes of the past,” Jon remarked nostalgically from the car.
“It truly is a wonderful place,” Jiang Chen replied, gazing at the picturesque scenery outside with a slight smile.
After ten minutes of driving through the estate, they arrived at a magnificent castle. The architecture was steeped in Gothic style, reminiscent of the Cologne Cathedral, yet it had been renovated to incorporate modern elements.
Jon and Jiang Chen stepped out of the car. Today marked a family meeting for the Delson Family, and having a Huaxia person present was bound to attract attention.
“Who are you?” an elderly white man in his sixties approached them, blocking their path.
This man was the butler of the Delson Family, having served diligently for decades and confident that he knew everyone in the family. However, he did not recognize the pair before him.
“I suppose it’s been so long that few people remember me,” Jon chuckled lightly.
“Are you also part of the Delson Family?” The butler, being someone who understood social nuances, inquired further.
Jon nodded and replied with a hint of nostalgia, “When I left here, you probably weren’t even born yet.”
The butler stood speechless, taken aback by this revelation.
“I am Jon Delson,” Jon stated simply before walking past him with Jiang Chen.
Regaining his composure, the butler hesitated to stop them; he did know who Jon Delson was but found it puzzling why he had returned after being away for over seventy years—was it perhaps for the Clan Leader position?
At the same time, he felt something was off about Jon Delson's age but dared not make assumptions and hurried off to inform the Clan Leader of the Delson Family.
Inside the grand hall, voices echoed as hundreds of Delson Family members gathered—ranging from ninety-year-old elders to newborn infants.
“Hey, who are they? Why is there a Huaxia person here?”
“I don’t recognize them; does anyone know who they are?”
The previously bustling hall grew even louder with Jiang Chen’s presence as curious glances turned toward him.
Among the crowd, one individual spotted Jiang Chen and immediately felt a surge of anger.
“Great! I’ve been looking for you; I didn’t expect you to come right to me! Kid, since you’ve shown up, don’t blame me for being rude,” shouted a young man with some swelling on his face as he charged toward Jiang Chen with fury.
This young man was none other than Bowen—the same Bowen who had fallen and lost several teeth due to Jiang Chen's subtle interference at Monroe’s ball at Weytings Castle. Initially, Bowen had considered it an accident, but after encountering Li Wenhou in the hospital, his perspective changed dramatically.
Li Wenhou had suffered even worse; he accidentally bit his tongue in front of Jiang Chen and communicated through writing that Jiang Chen was trouble and had orchestrated their misfortunes.
Bowen thought carefully. That day at the racetrack, his horse had an accident, and Jiang Chen was present. Similarly, Li Wenhou's mishap also involved Jiang Chen; he himself had an accident while Jiang Chen was there as well. All these coincidences combined were no longer mere chance. It was clear that Jiang Chen had been scheming behind the scenes. Bowen resolved to recover from his injuries and then take action against Jiang Chen.
