Around six in the evening, the two of them began to get ready. This time, Yun started to dress up with more care than before, not just a casual effort. However, she still opted for a light makeup look, as heavy makeup felt uncomfortable after a while. Yun didn’t need concealer or contouring; she just focused on her eyes with some eyeshadow and eyeliner. It only took half an hour. 0

She tied her hair into a side braid with a silk ribbon, giving it a fluffy and full appearance. After changing into her outfit and checking herself in the mirror, she felt quite satisfied with her look. 0

Qin Nianchu was applying false eyelashes when she caught a glimpse of Yun and was taken aback. "Wow, you look stunning! You usually don’t dress up much, but I didn’t expect you to look this good when you actually put in the effort. I thought you wouldn’t know how to dress up at all!" she said, covering her mouth and giggling. 0

Yun smiled shyly, "I’ve been practicing at school all this time and didn’t have the leisure to dress up, let alone wear my own clothes." 0

After a little while, Qin Nianchu finished getting ready and started packing her things. She also assembled a phone stand. 0

"Nianchu, why are you bringing a stand?" Yun asked. 0

"There’s a beautiful garden at the restaurant we’re going to, and I thought we could film a video there. The stand is convenient because it can capture movements on its own without needing someone to hold it," Qin Nianchu explained. 0

"That’s a great idea! Usually, the three of us love filming videos at school, but we always have to bother others for help," Yun replied. Having this stand would make things much easier. 0

Once they finished packing, they linked arms and headed out. Just as they stepped out of the dormitory building, Qin Nianchu received a call from Qin Nianzhe. 0

"They're here! Stop rushing me!" Qin Nianchu said, slightly annoyed by his impatience. 0

"Can you wait a minute? It won’t kill you!" 0

Yun listened nearby and couldn’t help but smile; having siblings at home was nice—it provided someone to bicker with. Despite what she said, Qin Nianchu quickened her pace. 0

Yun held an umbrella as she and her companion hurried toward the school gate. Fortunately, the girls' dormitory was not far from the entrance, and they arrived in about five or six minutes. 0

Yun felt a bit stifled in her jeans, but she figured it would be much better once they reached the restaurant. The red sunset stretched across the horizon, and people came and went at the school gate, rarely stopping to linger. 0

From a distance, Yun spotted a figure standing with their back to her, gazing at the sunset. He had one hand in his pocket, wearing a black shirt and black pants, with a pair of expensive brand-name sneakers on his feet—shoes he often wore. 0

As they approached, Qin Nianchu playfully slapped Qin Nianzhe on the back. Startled, Qin Nianzhe turned around ready to scold whoever had startled him, but upon seeing Yun, he fell silent. 0

"Hey, Yun! Good to see you again," Qin Nianchu said, noticing that he wasn’t angry but instead looked foolishly at Yun. She immediately stood on her tiptoes to block his view. 0

"Can you stop drooling? It's really disgusting," Qin Nianzhe retorted. He seemed to take her words seriously and quickly wiped his mouth, blushing slightly. 0

But he realized there was nothing there. Gritting his teeth, he muttered under his breath, "Qin Nianchu, are you out of your mind?" 0

Yun stood by, amused by their banter. She glanced over at Jiang Shiyu, who had been quiet all along. The girl had her hair styled in a beautiful side braid adorned with a light pink ribbon, giving her an ethereal appearance. She had a classic oval face with well-defined features and striking looks; her large almond-shaped eyes sparkled with a hint of laughter. 0

Her skin was fair and delicate, but she was quite thin—her collarbones were prominent enough to be seen clearly. With a small frame and slender shoulders, she wore a thin strap that rested lightly on her delicate shoulder. Her waist appeared soft and slender, giving off an impression of fragility. 0

Noticing that someone was looking at her, Yun turned her gaze just in time to meet Jiang Shiyu's eyes. For a moment, she felt flustered and quickly looked away like a startled rabbit, lowering her head slightly and pressing her lips together. 0

Jiang Shiyu raised an eyebrow; he had caught that fleeting moment of surprise in her expression. 0

He is quite frightening. 0
