In the realm of mecha combat, all energy is derived from the Energy Core. According to the display panel, the current level of the Energy Core is classified as a certain grade. What Lu Ziye needs to do is absorb energy by defeating Mechanical Beasts to elevate the Energy Core's level.
The level of the Energy Core directly correlates to the mecha's capabilities; a higher Energy Core level signifies more powerful energy at the mecha's disposal, serving as its very core. For instance, the Blood Cry Military Blade that Lu Ziye wields is not a physical weapon but rather one generated by energy vibrations. In close combat, it boasts immense power, though its attack range is limited and its attack speed relatively slow, currently allowing for one swing per second.
Lu Ziye possesses a talent that enables him to infinitely stack attack speed through defeating Mechanical Beasts. Once his accumulated attack speed reaches a certain threshold, he will be able to perform a Miao Dao.
As he unsheathes the Blood Cry Sabre, blood splatters and bones shatter. Imagining that scene fills Lu Ziye with anticipation. The meter-long Blood Cry Sabre slices through the air with ease; Lu Ziye even skillfully performs a flourish mid-air. The principles behind Defense Index and Mobility Index are similar to those of Firepower Index.
The defense index is related to the mech material and the Energy Core. Indeed, the mech's defensive capabilities are closely tied to the Energy Core; the stronger your energy, the more powerful your firepower, enhancing your ability to intercept external threats and increasing your overall safety.
The Mobility Index is associated with the Power engine and the Energy Core. All mechs belonging to Mechanics are composed of Advanced Component-grade Energy Cores, which represent the limit that newly awakened Mechanics can control.
High-level Advanced Components can be obtained by defeating Mechanical Beasts on the battlefield or by accumulating Soul Crystals. Soul Crystals are items dropped by Mechanical Beasts upon their death, containing special abilities. In certain dangerous territories inhabited by Mechanical Beasts, it is essential to rely on Soul Crystals to withstand environmental pressures; every moment spent there consumes Soul Crystals.
Soul Crystals are highly valuable and have become a special currency for Mechanics, as well as a merit badge that can be exchanged for various resources.
