As the frontline leader of the Squad, Wan Hao, with his combat experience, initiated the battle command upon detecting the Mechanical Beast on the radar.
"Is it starting?" Lu Ziye felt a surge of excitement within.
【Battle Information: Monitor incoming artillery strikes and prepare for defense.】
Wan Hao's Guardian Mecha launched a series of metal plates from its left arm. These plates quickly assembled and transformed, fitting together seamlessly to form a massive shield.
With a powerful shout, Wan Hao and Wang Keke drove the giant shield forcefully into the ground, embedding it firmly into the earth as the colossal Guardian Mecha stood protectively in front of it.
Just as the shield was completed, three Energy Shells struck it in succession. Although most of the explosive force was absorbed, the powerful shockwave still pushed Wan Hao and Wang Keke back several meters.
Meanwhile, Cai Ji, piloting the Roarer Mech from behind, had already retrieved a long High-Energy Sniper Cannon from its back. He aimed and fired in one fluid motion.
The Energy Shells whistled through the air, accurately hitting the head of a Mechanical Giant Rhino charging from miles away. The immense energy exploded upon impact, creating a large hole in its skull and sending ripples of energy through the air.
The Mechanical Giant Rhino collapsed to the ground, its massive inertia causing it to slide forward several meters before it staggered back to its feet and continued its charge.
The earth trembled as dust and debris filled the air; the Mechanical Beast charged forward while Energy Shells rained down, obscuring a large area in smoke and chaos.
On Wan Hao's giant shield, two Gatling Cannons were mounted—operated by Raider Mech's Lu Ziye and Liu Xin'er. Both opened fire simultaneously as Gatling Energy Shells flew forth, bombarding three Mechanical Giant Rhinos.
The Squad members were astonished; they had guessed Liu Xin'er’s talent was indeed Hundredfold Attack Speed. Lu Ziye fired once per second while Liu Xin'er fired twice in that same span.
Energy Shells detonated repeatedly on the Mechanical Giant Rhinos as they roared in fury and pressed on with their charge. The one taking the most damage fell just within meters of Lu Ziye and the Squad, crashing down and not getting back up.
A surge of green energy gathered towards the mecha as Lu Ziye received his share of reward information.

Killing a Level Mechanical Beast solo grants energy upgrade progress—the higher the level of the Mechanical Beast, the more energy is obtained. However, since this was a team effort, all individual Energy Progress was shared among them.
【Squad: Wan Hao: This guy is tough-skinned and thick-fleshed; he's one of the dumbest but also one of the beefiest Level Mechanical Beasts. Prepare for close combat.】
Boom! Boom! Two injured Mechanical Giant Rhinos charged at full force into the giant shield.
After withstanding this impact, Wang Keke and Wan Hao retracted their shield. A rugged Zhan Dao formed in their hands as they swung down directly at their foes.
Lu Ziye and Liu Xin'er followed suit, thrusting their Blood Cry Sabres fiercely into battle.
The Peng Battle Blade and the Blood Cry Sabre struck the Mechanical Giant Rhino in quick succession. Cracks began to form on its heavy metal shell. The battle was going smoothly, especially since they were fully equipped at the highest level.
Liu Xin'er piloted her mech high into the air, bringing the Blood Cry Sabre down straight into the back of the Mechanical Giant Rhino.
Roar!!
The Mechanical Giant Rhino let out a series of mournful howls, and Lu Ziye seized the opportunity to shove the Gatling Cannon's muzzle into the creature's mouth.
Bang! Bang! Bang! The cannon fired relentlessly, and even the toughest of beasts could not withstand the firepower directed straight into its throat. With its head completely blown apart, the battle came to an end.
They had taken down a Mechanical Beast, earning several Energy Progress points and a permanent attack speed boost, along with a Soul Crystal. The Soul Crystals were distributed in order, one for each person, as they took turns claiming their prize.
There was no time to rest; Wan Hao pointed to the north.
"Wan Hao: To the northwest, there’s a Mechanical Beast with flying units, Roarers. Take out those airborne targets!"
"Cai Ji: Understood!"
The Roarer Mech pulled out a portable anti-air Missile launcher and aimed it at the north.
With a bang, an Energy Missile shot through the air, trailing flames as it accurately struck a Mechanical Bat, blowing off one of its wings and sending it crashing to the ground.
"Team Wang Keke: Wow, Cai Ge, you call that a weak chicken?"
"Wan Hao: Nice job! Brothers, wipe them out!"
The battle raged on, and Lu Ziye felt a surge of excitement. If they kept this up, wouldn’t they become invincible? Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!!!
