On a starship in the Dragon Kingdom, the newly awakened Mechanics were brimming with excitement.
"Once we encounter the Mechanical Beasts, don’t hesitate! I’ll take the lead; you all just focus on dealing damage," one of them urged. "We need to level up quickly and enter the Gray Zone. I’ve heard that the Mechanical Beasts there are denser, and there are even leader Mechanical Beasts. Defeating one can yield its Components, significantly boosting our strength."
"Let’s do this!" The Mechanics were eager and ready to prove themselves. However, a sudden announcement echoed through the Hangar.
"Emergency mission! We will be landing in a designated area of the White Zone in a few minutes. Prepare for combat with foreign Mecha Corps. The Superior has issued orders: if you can’t win, don’t return to the International Headquarters."
The Mechanics were left dumbfounded.
"What’s going on? We’re not fighting Mechanical Beasts? We’re going to brawl instead? This is so intense!"
"I never expected our first battle would be a brawl. What should we do if we get too excited?" one of them asked.
"Did you hear that order? They said if we can’t win, don’t come back. It seems that fighting on alien battlefields is a tradition," another replied.
"A tradition of valor, huh? I think it’s a good thing! It shows that the Dragon Kingdom won’t let its people suffer losses. When faced with challenges, they go straight for it. I like that."
"Forget it; let’s just fight first and sort things out later."
Moments later, the Mother Ship hovered high above as the Hangar doors opened, and an announcement rang out.
"Prepare for landing!"
To their surprise, they realized they weren’t the only ones heading into battle; another Mother Ship was also descending, deploying mechas into the fray.
"Brothers, charge!"
Multiple mechas landed swiftly, joining the already chaotic melee.
Lu Ziye and his squad were equally astonished at the sheer number of reinforcements.
Including the rookie Mechanics originally training in the White Zone, there were dozens of Dragon Kingdom mechas joining the fight.
Although the Foreign Mecha teams were somewhat prepared, they had never encountered such a scene before. They called for reinforcements too but lacked the organization of the Dragon Kingdom; only a few additional units trickled in.
It was a fight among new Mechanics, with mecha levels being quite similar—this time, they truly had the advantage!
The sound of cannon fire echoed as the Foreign Mecha Legion unleashed a chaotic energy wave, sending limbs of mechs soaring into the air. Just moments ago, the arrogant Matsushita found himself pinned to the ground by four or five mechs.
"Stop hitting me! Stop hitting me! The mech's defense is down; someone’s going to get hurt!" Matsushita pleaded.
Hearing his cries for mercy, the Dragon Kingdom Mechanic nearby showed no signs of relenting. "Not listening! Keep hitting him if he keeps talking!"
For the Dragon Kingdom Mechanic, the brawl was relatively easy, but for Lu Ziye, the battle was much more challenging. The Mechanical Earth Violent Bear lived up to its reputation as an Elite Mechanical Beast, with an energy intensity far surpassing that of its opponents.
From its back, a triple-barreled cannon fired three Energy Shells in quick succession. Lu Ziye and Wan Hao, engaged in close combat, rolled aside repeatedly to avoid the blasts, but they were still caught in the violent explosions, their armor steadily deteriorating.
In the distance, Cai Huan had opened fire with full force. Each strike was incredibly precise, leaving numerous holes in the Earthshaking Bear's body, yet it remained steadfast.
