The situation rapidly deteriorated, with both teams calling out to the heavens and the earth, only to meet a tragic end in the Beast Nest. They would never believe that the mastermind behind this was none other than their most respected and trusted Commander.
Even more terrifying was that after the external Mechanical Nest's Mechanical Beasts had slaughtered them, they heard the sounds of battle from Lu Ziye's Squad. Consequently, the Mechanical Beasts from both Beast Nests merged together and charged towards Lu Ziye's position.
Roars echoed through the air, causing the ground to tremble. Wang Yong sensed something was amiss and immediately ran to the front of the team to stand alongside Lu Ziye.
"Everyone, prepare to unleash all firepower! Something is off here; the density of Mechanical Beasts shouldn't be this high. The other two groups must be in trouble!"
The assault team remained relatively calm; after all, these Mechanical Beasts appeared weak in front of Lu Ziye. Even if there were a few more, it wouldn't make much difference. However, in the next moment, a Mechanical Earth Dragon appeared directly ahead, leaving everyone stunned.
Those familiar with mechas knew that a Mechanical Earth Dragon was a type of Mechanical Beast that absolutely should not be present here.

Wang Yong shouted, "Maintain formation! Lu Ziye, hold the line! Your firepower is strong; don't let these Mechanical Beasts compress our maneuvering space. Otherwise, we’ll be surrounded and have no escape route."
At that moment, the entire Squad maintained a very tight formation with enough distance between each mecha to allow for maneuverability. However, if the encirclement by the Mechanical Beasts tightened, they would become sitting ducks for long-range attacks.
Lu Ziye opened fire with everything he had, unleashing a barrage against the Mechanical Beasts before him. In that cave, his attack speed surpassed even that of a Miao Pao.
Dozens of lower-tier Mechanical Beasts charged forward alongside hundreds of mid-tier ones, creating significant pressure on them. Even Lu Ziye's firepower struggled to eliminate them quickly, and their numbers continued to swell.

Lu Ziye maneuvered left and right, dodging attacks from high-level Mechanical Beasts as he prioritized eliminating lower-level ones. Killing these Mechanical Beasts would quickly boost his level and attack speed.
Boom! A Mechanical Beast closed in on Lu Ziye, launching a frenzied assault.
Energy shells struck Lu Ziye, one of which was blocked by a Guardian Mecha with a massive shield that he didn’t even know the name of.
The Guardian Mecha's shield shattered instantly, and the mech was sent flying several dozen meters, clearly injured.

With a swift motion, the Mechanical Beast’s body was cleaved open, revealing a gaping wound. The red energy on the Blood Cry Sabre was both deadly and dazzling.
With a heavy sigh, the Earth Dragon fell to the ground.
The attack speed of the Blood Cry Sabre might not match that of artillery, but its power was far greater. Lu Ziye felt confident in his output now; his movements became even more ferocious as he engaged in battle.
