Watching more and more Mechanical Beasts surge onto the vast plain before him, Lu Ziye's allied forces defending Hao Xingmen were already struggling to cope.
The Deputy Commander had never anticipated encountering such a situation right at the start of battle—was it even more challenging than last time?
Lu Ziye glanced at the troops stationed at Hao Xingmen, who were roaring their determination to hold their ground. He needed to find a suitable position to alleviate some pressure on them.

What was even more impressive was that as Lu Ziye charged forward in flight, his Trin Kinetic Cannon unleashed a barrage of Energy Shells simultaneously.
From a distance, it appeared as if a single mech was soaring alongside a multitude of Energy Shells; wherever he flew, swathes of Mechanical Beasts fell before him.
A massive vacuum zone was carved out on the plain; there was not a single Mechanical Beast left standing in Lu Ziye's wake.
Following behind Lu Ziye, the Deputy Commander was in shock. He had suspected that this commander had some skills, but he never expected them to be so extensive.
"Commander Lu, where are we?" the Deputy Commander asked nervously. At that moment, his respect for the young commander grew even deeper.
"I don't know either; I'm not familiar with the terrain. Take me to a Mechanical Beast that can lead us to the Hao Xingmen's ambush point. I want to alleviate the pressure on Hao Xingmen at its source," Lu Ziye replied.
The Deputy Commander was completely stunned by Lu Ziye's words. Why did it seem like he understood what Lu Ziye was saying, yet felt utterly confused?
Was Commander Lu suggesting that one person should hold off these Mechanical Beasts at the source to significantly reduce the pressure on the entire Three Gate?
"Commander Lu, the closest location is the Aoken Mountain Range. All the stragglers trying to break through from the outside must pass through that mountain range to enter Hao Xingmen. It's a critical point, so there are Wan Mechanics stationed there."
The Mechanical Beasts had already broken through multiple lines of defense, and even with the Wan Mechanics holding them back, so many Mechanical Beasts were still able to approach Hao Xingmen. Lu Ziye found it hard to imagine just how vast the scale of these Mechanical Beasts was.
Without further thought, under the Deputy Commander's guidance, Lu Ziye sped towards Aoken Mountain Range at supersonic speed. With the enhancement from his Energy Core and Power Engine, his speed increased even further.
At Aoken Mountain Range, Commander Wang Feng of the Dragon Kingdom Mechanics was engaged in fierce combat. He was directing various legions in battle against the Mechanical Beasts below, but as more and more of them broke through his defenses towards Hao Xingmen, he grew anxious.
Some Mechanical Beasts had already passed through; if this continued, Star Gate would be doomed. "Kill them all!" he shouted.
Suddenly, a sound barrier broke in the sky as a figure descended rapidly, charging straight towards the escaping Mechanical Beasts. The Red Military Knife danced wildly while the Trin Kinetic Cannon fired in unison, obliterating a large group of Mechanical Beasts that had already fled from the mountains.
In an instant, Red Storm activated, unleashing waves of Energy Sword Qi that cleaved through even more Mechanical Beasts.
"Who are you?" Wang Feng demanded.
"I am Lu Ziye, commander of the Ninth Defense Legion of No. Star Gate," came the reply.
"Huh? Why are you here instead of guarding Star Gate?" Wang Feng recognized this name; Lu Ziye had become well-known after the battle at Setting Sun Canyon.
"If I hold this position, then no Mechanical Beasts will pass through," Lu Ziye answered plainly. However, Wang Feng couldn't shake off the feeling that it sounded like a jab at his own incompetence.
After Lu Ziye arrived at Aoken Mountain Range, only a handful of Mechanical Beasts managed to get through—essentially half of those that would have otherwise passed were stopped by him alone.
Wang Feng stared at this young man in contemplation: Is he really human?
Just when everyone thought they could breathe a sigh of relief, two blinding beams of light suddenly appeared within Hao Xingmen, directly aimed at Lu Ziye's position and enveloping him.
Lu Ziye looked towards Hao Xingmen as well; he had no idea what was happening over there due to the distance. However, soon a video feed came through from the combat channel sent by soldiers stationed at Hao Xingmen.
In the video, a towering beast, standing at a height of several meters, roared as its eyes fixated intensely on the Aoken Mountain Range, staring at the location of Lu Ziye with a gaze reminiscent of death.
Was this the attention of a powerful figure?
However, the Deputy Commander beside him was already in a state of panic. Trembling, he said, " Commander, you have attracted the Stellar Beast."
Lu Ziye responded, "What?"
