A week later, at the archaeological camp in Changling Village, Honda Miho was analyzing the decoded data. Reports from around the globe revealed that all infected individuals had undergone the same transformation; they no longer attempted to alter their hosts but instead integrated into the human immune system.
"Look at this," she said, pointing at the genetic map on the screen. After the virus program was reorganized, it formed a complete information database. "This information is a legacy left to us by ancient civilizations."
"I can see more through my enhanced vision," I replied. After decoding, my special abilities not only remained intact but became clearer. The runes and data were no longer chaotic codes but rather an organized body of knowledge.
They waited as Li Yang sifted through materials brought back from Cairo, anticipating when humanity would evolve to understand this information. However, military experiments had disrupted this process.
Zhou Jing opened a world map. "So these twelve points are meant to construct a global information network," I pointed out. "Look at how these points are distributed; if we connect them according to the energy field flow..."
Jiang Zhendong quickly drew lines on the map. Soon, a surprising pattern emerged: these lines formed a massive genetic spiral structure, with each activation point located at critical junctions.
"This is not just a network," I said. "It resembles a colossal decoding device. Through these twelve points, we can gradually unravel the hidden information within human genes."
"But why use a viral form?" Zhou Jing asked.
"Because it's the most stable method," Honda Miho explained. "The virus can transmit information across generations without destroying the structure." She pulled up a segment of new data. "Look at this decay cycle; it aligns perfectly with... This means that with each cycle, a portion of information will be naturally decoded."
"So they are waiting for a complete evolutionary process," Li Yang said, "until humanity is truly ready to receive this information."
Suddenly, I noticed an anomaly on the map. "Wait a minute, these energy field directions seem to point towards a specific location."
Everyone observed closely. If we extended the direction of these energy flows, they would intersect at an unexpected place: Antarctica.
"Interesting," I said as I opened my laptop to check historical records.
Soon, an astonishing discovery emerged: in addition to those twelve special task forces, the military had secretly dispatched a thirteenth team. Their objective was precisely Antarctica.
"Not just the military," Jiang Zhendong added. "After World War II, multiple countries developed a particular interest in Antarctica. Did they uncover something?"
