Park Bucheng stood in the basement of the abandoned farm, the air thick with dampness and the smell of machine oil, mingled with the metallic scent of dirt that made him feel nauseous. He irritably tugged at his collar; the air in this godforsaken place was worse than that of a prison cell.
The map in his hands was marked with a dense web of red dots, each representing a potential enemy stronghold. Those damned flies just wouldn't go away!
The voice on the other end of the phone echoed in his mind: "The real storm is yet to come." It carried a hint of mockery, as if laughing at his audacity.
A cold smile crept across Park Bucheng's lips, his gaze sharp as an eagle's. "Han Mi Na, do you think you can stir up much trouble? When I was out there killing in the jungles of Vietnam, you were probably still playing in the mud!"
He struck the table with his knuckles, producing a sharp sound that pierced through the silence of the basement. "Li Meili, report the latest intel."
Li Meili approached with her laptop, the screen flashing a dizzying array of numbers and documents. "We just received word that Han Mi Na has used her powers at the prosecutor's office to freeze all accounts of the Tai Chi Gang. The funding chain has been severed; Li Zhenghao's side is in chaos, like ants on a hot pan, scrambling everywhere for help."
She paused for a moment before adding, "Worse still, the Taiji Consortium has deployed security forces to launch a large-scale assault on our gang strongholds. According to our informants, their next step is to completely destroy our foundation in Seoul and uproot us!"
Park Bucheng narrowed his eyes, his gaze cutting through the room like a knife. These were his brothers-in-arms, and each face reflected a serious concern.
"It seems they want to force us into a corner," he said in a low voice that carried an inexplicable weight, like a beast ready to explode. "Unfortunately for them, they underestimate me and our determination as desperate men!"
Zhao Xianzhe dropped the detonator wire he had been holding and grinned. "Boss, how do we play this? Should we just blow them up? I've been itching for some action!"
Park Bucheng shook his head. "Blowing them up is our last resort. I anticipated they would resort to economic sanctions, so I had already moved our funds to secret overseas accounts. As for supplies, they've been dispersed to several hidden locations; enough to sustain us for a while."
He turned back to the map, pressing down hard on several red dots as if trying to puncture it. "Now we need to show them what it means to feint left while striking right! Let them taste what it's like to be played!"
Kim Tae Hee was checking her sniper rifle, her gaze steady like a coiled cheetah ready to pounce. "What's the strategy? Boss, just give the order; my brothers are ready to charge into fire!"
Park Bucheng slowly replied, "We create chaos and keep them on their toes while secretly mobilizing our main forces straight for Han Mi Na's Command Center. Capture the queen to catch the king; once we have her, we can turn the tide!"
As soon as he finished speaking, silence fell over the room; everyone was stunned by this audacious plan.
Li Meili couldn't help but ask, "Boss, are you sure you want to directly attack her Command Center? It's heavily guarded! It's practically a den of tigers and dragons!"
Park Bucheng narrowed his eyes, a sly smile appearing on his face. "So what if it's heavily guarded? No number of people can stop my Graceful Wave Steps and Six Meridians Divine Sword. I'll show them what a true martial arts master is capable of!"
Zhao Xianzhe excitedly slapped the table. "Great! Now that's the spirit! Let's do it! I've been itching to take that woman down!"
Half an hour later, the team split into two groups. The first group, led by Zhao Xianzhe and Park Ji Ming, would create chaos at several Gangster Gang Strongholds, detonating explosives to draw the enemy's attention—like a pack of cunning foxes setting fires everywhere to confuse their foes. The second group was personally led by Park Bucheng, launching a surprise attack straight at Han Mi Na's Command Center, like a venomous snake lurking in the shadows, ready to strike with deadly precision.
As night fell, Seoul City Center sparkled with lights, resembling daylight, yet hidden within were dangers lurking like a beast ready to pounce.
Han Mi Na stood inside the Command Center, watching the live surveillance footage on the screens with a cold smile, as if everything was under her control. "These Gangster scum are really stubborn. Like cockroaches, they just won't die!" She turned to Choi Ji-ho and said, "Notify all departments to accelerate the extermination process. I want them completely wiped out! Not a single one left!"
Choi Ji-ho nodded in response and picked up the radio to issue commands. "All personnel, pay attention! Increase vigilance and ensure no target escapes! Shoot to kill!"
Just then, a sudden alarm blared, shattering the tranquility of the Command Center.
"Report! An explosion occurred at the East Side Gang Stronghold! The enemy may be moving supplies!"
Han Mi Na's expression shifted slightly but quickly regained composure. "Just minor distractions. No need to panic. Continue with the plan; we need to encircle them completely! They won't be able to escape!"
As soon as she finished speaking, another report came in—
"The West District warehouse has been attacked! The enemy is using Heavy Weapons; casualties are severe!"
Han Mi Na frowned as she looked at the screen showing scenes of several Gang Strongholds engulfed in flames and thick smoke, chaos reigning everywhere like a hell on earth. "These lunatics!" she gritted her teeth and said. "Choi Ji-ho, you go handle this personally! I want them to know what happens when they provoke me! I want them to regret ever being born!"
Choi Ji-ho let out a cold laugh as he drew his pistol from his waist, a bloodthirsty glint flashing in his eyes as he strode out of the room.
Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the Command Center, a ghostly figure silently weaved through the shadows, like a phantom in the night, appearing and disappearing without a trace.
Park Bucheng executed the Graceful Wave Steps, each movement precise and fluid, dancing around every camera and patrolling guard. Li Meili followed closely behind him, their coordination seamless as they slipped into the core area like specters.
“Boss, this place is heavily guarded. There are cameras and infrared sensors everywhere; it’s tighter than a drum!” Li Meili whispered, her voice laced with anxiety. “Are you sure we can pull this off? I’m feeling a bit uneasy.”
Park Bucheng glanced back at her, a confident smile curling at the corners of his mouth. “Have you forgotten who I am? I’m Park Bucheng! Nothing can stop me!”
Just as they were about to approach the Command Room, a sudden rush of footsteps shattered the night’s silence.
Moments later, a team of fully armed elite guards burst forth, surrounding them completely!
“Stop! Raise your hands!” barked the lead guard, his gun aimed squarely at Park Bucheng, as if ready to pull the trigger at any moment.
Li Meili's face paled, instinctively taking a step back. “Boss, we’ve been discovered!”
But Park Bucheng remained unfazed. He slowly raised his hands and then suddenly pushed off the ground, charging toward the nearest guard like an arrow released from a bow!
The Six Meridians Divine Sword struck instantly; an invisible force shot from his fingertips, accurately hitting the guard's weapon. With a sharp crack, the gun snapped in two!
