Lin Yuan clasped his hands together, and the air around him twisted violently as a translucent portal slowly materialized before everyone. On the other side of the portal lay a strange world brimming with spiritual energy. Under a purple sky, countless glowing crystals floated, while bizarrely shaped plants grew on the ground. In the distance, a massive tower-like structure stood in the center of the plain, emanating powerful spiritual energy fluctuations.
"That is the Celestial Pivot Node," Lin Yuan said, pointing to the distant building. "Han Lingyun is there."
Just as everyone prepared to step through the portal, Lin Yuan suddenly felt a pang of unease. He whipped his head around to look at the space beside the portal. There should have been nothing there, but his spiritual perception caught a hint of an abnormal fluctuation.
"Be careful!" Lin Yuan shouted, activating his Time Manipulator.
Time slowed in his eyes, and he clearly saw a black beam shooting from the void, heading straight for Su Jiu'er. Lin Yuan leaped forward, pushing Su Jiu'er out of the way while condensing his spiritual energy in his right hand to form a shield in front of him.
The black beam struck the shield with a deafening explosion. Lin Yuan was thrown back by the tremendous force, crashing heavily against the wall, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.
As time resumed its normal flow, everyone finally reacted to what had happened.
"Lin Yuan!" Su Jiu'er exclaimed as she rushed to his side.
Lin Yuan shook his head to signal that he was fine and struggled to stand up. He fixed his gaze on the direction of the attack, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.
In the void, a figure slowly emerged—a man clad in a black robe with a stern expression.
"Li Honghe!" Lin Yuan gritted his teeth. "The chairman of the Tianhua Kingdom association from the parallel world. I didn't expect you to be involved!"
Li Honghe sneered. "Lin Yuan, your growth rate is indeed astonishing. However, none of you will step into this parallel world today!"
He formed seals with his hands, and the air around them instantly solidified as countless black dots coalesced in mid-air, forming a massive net that descended upon them.
A resolute glint flashed in Lin Yuan's eyes; he knew that a fierce battle was inevitable. Meanwhile, on the other side of the parallel world, Han Lingyun's plan was unfolding step by step—time was running out...
"Everyone, prepare for battle!" Lin Yuan shouted as he quickly formed seals with both hands. A golden light curtain enveloped everyone instantly, blocking Li Honghe's black Light Net from reaching them.
"Well, well, the young man has some skills!" Li Honghe raised an eyebrow, his tone laced with mockery. "But do you really think that will stop me?"
Before his words had fully settled, Li Honghe's figure suddenly vanished from sight. In the next moment, he appeared inside the light screen, striking towards Lin Yuan's back with a palm.
"Watch out!" Su Jiu'er exclaimed.
Lin Yuan had been prepared; he slightly turned his body and swiftly wrapped his right hand around Li Honghe's wrist like a snake. "Hah, you're not as impressive as you think."
A flicker of surprise crossed Li Honghe's eyes, but he quickly burst into wild laughter. "Interesting, truly interesting! I didn't expect you to have such skills. But..." His smile twisted into a sinister grin. "Do you think this is all I can do?"
Before Lin Yuan could respond, Li Honghe's body suddenly swelled, transforming into a massive black sphere. Countless tiny tendrils extended from the surface of the sphere, writhing toward Lin Yuan and the others.
"What the hell is that?" Zhou Haoran shouted in shock. "Is it some kind of alien creature?"
Lin Yuan furrowed his brow and quickly retreated. "Stop talking nonsense! This is Li Honghe's special ability, 'Changing Forms.' He can transform his body into any shape, and each form has different abilities."
"What should we do?" Zhang Li asked nervously.
Lin Yuan took a deep breath, determination flashing in his eyes. "We must break through his blockade and enter the parallel world. Han Lingyun is our main target; we can't afford to delay here."
With that, Lin Yuan quickly formed hand seals, and a golden light erupted from within him. "Jiu'er, get your compass ready!"
Su Jiu'er nodded and pulled out the Ancient Compass from her pocket. The surface of the compass suddenly glowed with a strange light that resonated with the golden light emanating from Lin Yuan.
"Time-Space Jump!" Lin Yuan shouted.
In an instant, it felt as if the entire space was being torn apart. The group blinked, and in the next moment, they found themselves standing in a different world beneath a purple sky.
"We did it!" Zhou Haoran shouted excitedly.
However, Lin Yuan's expression grew even more serious. "Don't celebrate too soon; the trouble has just begun."
Before he finished speaking, a piercing shriek suddenly echoed through the sky. Countless bolts of black lightning descended from above, striking towards the group.
"Scatter!" Lin Yuan shouted, quickly forming hand seals. A golden barrier enveloped everyone overhead.
The black lightning struck the barrier with a deafening explosion. Lin Yuan let out a muffled groan, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.
"Lin Yuan!" Su Jiu'er looked at him with concern.
Lin Yuan shook his head, forcing himself to stand upright. "I'm fine. The Lingqi here is too violent; we must find a safe place quickly."
At that moment, a towering structure in the distance suddenly emitted a dazzling light. A massive beam shot into the sky, turning the entire atmosphere blood-red.
"This is bad!" Lin Yuan's face changed dramatically. "Han Lingyun has already started the ritual! We must stop her!"
Just as everyone was about to move, they suddenly felt a violent tremor beneath their feet. The ground began to crack open, and countless vine-like black tendrils emerged from the fissures, reaching out to ensnare them.
"Damn it, it's Li Honghe!" Lin Yuan gritted his teeth. "He's actually caught up with us!"
"Lin Yuan, you all go! I'll hold off these tendrils!" Zhou Haoran suddenly shouted.
With that, he pulled out a strange device from his backpack and pressed a switch. A blue electric current instantly spread across the ground, temporarily immobilizing the black tendrils.
"Hao Ran!" Lin Yuan looked at him anxiously.
Zhou Haoran grinned. "Don't worry; I'm a genius of Scientific Cultivation! These little gadgets are nothing to me. You all go stop Han Lingyun; don't let her succeed!"
Lin Yuan took a deep breath and nodded firmly. "Alright, be careful! We will definitely come back for you!"
With that, Lin Yuan led Su Jiu'er and the other team members towards the distant tower-like structure.
However, they had barely run a hundred meters when a piercing shriek suddenly echoed from the sky. Countless bolts of black lightning descended, striking towards them.

The group quickened their pace, racing towards the tower. However, as they drew closer to their target, the surroundings became increasingly bizarre. The ground began to twist and contort, and an oppressive pressure filled the air.
"This is... spatial turbulence!" Su Jiu'er exclaimed. "Han Lingyun is disrupting the spatial structure of this world!"
Lin Yuan gritted his teeth. "We have to break through this barrier! Jiu'er, try using your compass!"
Su Jiu'er nodded and pulled out the Ancient Compass from her pocket. The surface of the compass suddenly glowed with a strange light, and the needle spun wildly.
"I found it!" Su Jiu'er shouted excitedly. "There’s a relatively stable spatial passage over there!"
Lin Yuan followed her direction and indeed saw an almost invisible ripple in the air. "Alright, we’ll break through there!"
The group adjusted their direction and charged towards the ripple. However, just as they were about to enter the passage, a shadow suddenly descended from above, blocking their path.
"Want to leave? It's not that easy!" Li Honghe's sinister smile appeared particularly terrifying in the darkness.

"Ah!" The group exclaimed in shock as darkness enveloped them, and they lost consciousness.
Time passed—how long, Lin Yuan could not tell—before he slowly opened his eyes. He found himself lying on a desolate plain beneath a purple sky. In the distance, the tower-like structure still stood tall, but it seemed much closer now.
"Jiu'er? Hao Ran?" Lin Yuan struggled to rise and looked around. Yet, there was no one in sight; he stood alone on this unfamiliar land.
"Damn it, we've been scattered!" Lin Yuan gritted his teeth. He realized that the situation was worse than he had imagined. Not only did he need to thwart Han Lingyun's conspiracy, but he also had to find the others in this perilous world.
At that moment, the distant tower suddenly trembled violently. A blinding light shot into the sky, dyeing the entire atmosphere a blood-red hue.
A flicker of resolve crossed Lin Yuan's eyes. "No matter what happens, I must stop Han Lingyun!"
With that, he took a deep breath and sprinted toward the tower. Little did he know, an even greater crisis awaited him...
