Chen Jie Li trembled as he returned to the arena, his face pale, and he looked at Jiang Chen as if he had seen a ghost.
"Uncle Wu, you must avenge my grandfather! He was injured by that man, which is a slap in your face too. My grandfather and you are sworn brothers!" Chen Ran, seeing his grandfather seriously hurt, was filled with righteous indignation. He glared at Jiang Chen, speaking with barely contained fury, losing his sense of reason.
Wu Shiding felt somewhat awkward and remained silent.
"Enough!" Chen Jie Li weakly scolded. He could no longer underestimate Jiang Chen; the man was deeply concealed and simply terrifying.
"Grandfather, Uncle Wu is from the Divine Realm! Are you really afraid of this kid?" Chen Ran was becoming frantic. The overwhelming power of Jiang Chen made him feel insignificant. He desperately wanted to leverage Wu Shiding's strength against Jiang Chen.
Wu Shiding nearly slapped Chen Ran across the face. If Jiang Chen was indeed the expert that Li Fushi had mentioned, then even he, as a member of the Divine Realm, would be outmatched.
"Focus on what matters; let's not delay any further. We should begin the Martial Arts Arena Tournament," Wu Shiding suggested, changing the subject.
"You're right. Let's start the Martial Arts Arena Tournament," Chen Jie Li nodded and gave the order.
Everyone took their seats to watch the Martial Arts Arena Tournament. Jiang Chen sat nearby, but at this moment, no one felt much enthusiasm for the tournament; after all, what had just transpired was far more exciting. More people were now curious about Jiang Chen.
Half an hour later, Li Fushi hurriedly arrived.
Upon seeing Jiang Chen, Li Fushi was instantly excited. He hadn't expected to find Jiang Chen here; what a coincidence! It saved him the trouble of searching for him.
"Mr. Jiang, I am Li Fushi. I came specifically to find you," Li Fushi quickly stated upon meeting him.
"Elder Li, please have a seat. How did you know about me?" Jiang Chen smiled.
"I attended the Songnan Martial Arts Tournament last year but did not make an appearance," Li Fushi replied as he took a seat.
Seeing that Jiang Chen was indeed the expert Li Fushi had been looking for, Wu Shiding secretly felt relieved that he hadn't engaged in a confrontation with Jiang Chen earlier. As he watched Li Fushi and Jiang Chen converse, he refrained from interrupting and patiently waited.
Li Fushi's response did not surprise Jiang Chen. As they sat down, Jiang Chen watched the martial artists competing in the arena while asking, "Elder Li, you came specifically to find me; may I ask what it is about?"
"I am indeed looking for Mr. Jiang regarding a matter I wish to discuss. Have you heard of the Sword Immortal Ruins?" Li Fushi glanced around before speaking in a serious tone.
"Sword Immortal Ruins? I haven't heard of it. I don't have as much knowledge about these legendary hidden treasures as you do, Elder Li," Jiang Chen replied with a smile, showing little interest. At this point, he wasn't particularly intrigued by any ruins or hidden treasures on Earth.
"Uh, Mr. Jiang is joking! By the way, Mr. Jiang, I heard you are very interested in the Mountain and Sea Secret Realm and even went to Yulu City to find the Shi family. Is there any progress on that front?" Li Fushi probed cautiously.
"The progress is decent; now let's talk about the Sword Immortal Ruins," Jiang Chen said with a faint smile.
Noticing that Jiang Chen was unwilling to discuss the Mountain and Sea Secret Realm further, Li Fushi shifted back to discussing the Sword Immortal Ruins.
The Sword Immortal Ruins were said to have been left behind by a sword immortal two thousand years ago. Inside the ruins were not only the Sword Immortal Tomb but also a Sword Manual and celestial swords left by the immortal—an enticing prospect for Hidden Sects and families alike.
Now that the Sword Immortal Ruins had been discovered, although they had yet to be excavated, various Hidden Sects and families were already eyeing it with great interest and eager anticipation.
