The formulaic apology only made Nezha more furious. He took a deep breath, trying hard to control his temper. After all, he had to live here for a week; if he clashed with his roommate on the first day, the days ahead would surely be difficult. 0

"Forget it, let's not talk about that." Nezha shifted the topic, pulling out a takeout box. "I bought fried chicken and a burger. Do you want some?" 0

Ao Bing glanced at the greasy food and shook his head slightly. "Thank you, but I've already had dinner. Also," he pointed at the bedsheets beneath Nezha, "please don't eat on the bed; it will stain the sheets and duvet." 0

Nezha rolled his eyes but obediently sat down at the desk to devour his dinner. He ate ravenously, occasionally glancing at Ao Bing, who had put on his headphones again and returned to reading, completely ignoring him. 0

"What are you pretending for? It's just reading a few more books!" Nezha muttered to himself, then deliberately chewed loudly. 0

However, Ao Bing seemed completely unaffected, remaining focused on his reading as if Nezha didn’t exist at all. This feeling of being ignored only made Nezha more annoyed. He took a big gulp of cola, making a loud slurping sound, followed by an even louder burp. 0

Ao Bing merely shot him a brief glance before lowering his head back to his book. 0

Defeated, Nezha finished his dinner in silence, stuffed the trash into the takeout bag, and tossed it beside the trash can—not quite making it in. 0

Seeing this, Ao Bing frowned again but said nothing. He simply got up, walked over, bent down to pick up the bag, and properly disposed of it in the trash can. 0

This action made Nezha feel a twinge of guilt, but he quickly brushed it aside. "Hmph, it's just throwing away some trash; why make such a big deal out of it?" 0

The time passed as both of them busied themselves: Ao Bing continued reading while Nezha pulled out his phone to play games. The dorm was filled only with Nezha's occasional exclamations during gameplay and the rustling of pages from Ao Bing's book. 0

At ten o'clock in the evening, Ao Bing stood up, closed his book, and began preparing for bed. He first went to the bathroom to wash up, then changed into neat pajamas before neatly arranging the textbooks and stationery he would need for tomorrow on the desk. 0

Nezha secretly observed his every move, thinking, "This guy is too regular, isn’t he? Living so precisely, isn’t it exhausting?" 0

Once Ao Bing fell asleep, Nezha continued playing games, the light from his phone screen glaring in the darkness. 0

"Please refrain from using your phone after turning off the lights; blue light can affect sleep quality," Ao Bing's voice echoed in the dark. 0

"Got it, got it," Nezha replied impatiently, yet he showed no intention of stopping. "Just one more game and then I’ll sleep." 0

Ao Bing didn’t say anything further; he simply turned over, facing away from Nezha. However, Nezha could clearly sense his displeasure, which made him feel a bit smug, as if he had found a way to break through the calm facade of this "Perfect Scholar." 0

Half an hour later, Nezha finally grew tired of playing. He tossed his phone onto the pillow and, without bothering to wash up, buried his head under the covers and fell asleep. 0

As the night deepened, the dormitory fell into silence. Nezha dreamt that he was standing above a vast ocean, with rolling waves beneath his feet, yet he felt as if he were walking on solid ground. In the distance, a giant dragon flickered in and out of sight among the clouds, as if waiting for something. 0
