Jiang Chen held the Zong Yun Jian in his hand and floated down gracefully.
"Alright, Sword Immortal Ruins, I've seen enough. Let's go," Jiang Chen said.
Li Fushi nodded, curious but aware that it was not the right time to ask questions with so many people around.
"You, don't leave yet! You killed our Shangguan Shaogong and the Grand Elder; you owe us an explanation from Tianlang Palace," suddenly, several remaining elders from Tianlang Palace blocked Jiang Chen's path, speaking in a low tone.
"Step aside," Jiang Chen replied indifferently.
"You at least owe us an explanation, a reason, right?" Seeing Jiang Chen's firmness, the elders from Tianlang Palace immediately wilted, their tone becoming weak.
"I never need a reason to kill; if I want to kill, I will. If you Tianlang Palace seek revenge, feel free to come find me anytime," Jiang Chen stated.
The elders of Tianlang Palace were intimidated by Jiang Chen's aura; although they felt unwilling, they had no choice but to step aside obediently.
As Jiang Chen took a few steps forward, he seemed to remember something and casually waved the Zong Yun Jian. A sword qi shot forth like a rainbow piercing the sun, collapsing the entrance of the Sword Immortal Ruins.
"The Sword Immortal Ruins are no longer of value; you all can disperse now," Jiang Chen said before leaving with the people from Shen Xue Men.
Many had initially wanted to enter the Sword Immortal Ruins to scavenge for treasures, but upon seeing the entrance collapse, they abandoned that thought.
Jiang Chen walked away without anyone daring to stop him. The members of Hidden Sect exchanged glances; most of them had suffered little loss, but Tianlang Palace bore the brunt of it—Shangguan Shaogong and the Grand Elder were both dead, leaving the remaining members looking dejected and unsure how to report back.
Ye Xiaoying saw that Jiang Chen had left and quickly summoned a helicopter, preparing to leave first but waiting at the exit for Jiang Chen.
Zhao Fangqiu came to his senses and wanted to chase after Jiang Chen, but he had already vanished without a trace.
Zhao Fangqiu felt dazed, as if he had lost something important.
Zhao Tingting and the others were left in shock and fear; they had just been disrespectful towards Jiang Chen moments ago.
"Tingting, if you see Xiao Jiang—uh, Mr. Jiang next time, you should apologize. He did save you just now; it was probably because of my connection that he helped you. You young people really lack experience; this world is full of hidden talents. We must always be polite and never underestimate anyone. If it weren't for my good conversation with Mr. Jiang yesterday, Tingting, Xiao Fang, if you two offend him, your fate would likely be similar to that of Shangguan Shaogong from Tianlang Palace," Zhao Fangqiu said proudly, emphasizing his relationship with Jiang Chen. He felt honored that Jiang Chen could make even these Hidden Sect members and Sword Saint Ye Xiaoying bow their heads; knowing such a person was something he could brag about for a lifetime.
Zhao Tingting smiled awkwardly as she watched in the direction where Jiang Chen had left, finally letting out a sigh after a while.
"What a pity! Tingting, if only you could marry someone like him; you'd be so fortunate," Zhao Fangqiu lamented.
"Grandpa, I'm afraid he wouldn't be interested in me," Zhao Tingting said with newfound self-awareness.
"It doesn't matter if he's not interested; just having any connection with him would be enough. By the way, I remember he mentioned yesterday that he stays at Jiulong Hotel; I can take you to find him," Zhao Fangqiu suddenly recalled something and said excitedly.
"Grandpa, I... I think I'll pass," Zhao Tingting replied awkwardly.
