"Wow..." Qiu Yan said, "You seem so energetic..."
They embraced for a moment at the table. Qiu Yan was eager to go home, and Huang Jun helped her put on her bathrobe, adjusting her headscarf slightly. He picked up two candles from the floor and handed them to her, though she probably didn't need them anymore.
Qiu Yan took the candles and asked, "Are you really not Li Fen's boyfriend?"
Huang Jun shook his head with a smile. Qiu Yan hugged him again and kissed him for a moment before slipping back into her slippers. She tossed out a quick "bye-bye" and hurried home, leaving Huang Jun to tidy up the things that had fallen out of the drawer.
As Qiu Yan left Li Fen's house and ran to her own door, she pushed it open, intending to rush into the bedroom to catch someone in the act. However, she saw two people lurking outside the bedroom door, peeking in. One of them was the man who had just appeared with Xiao Lin at the bathroom door.
These two men were subordinates of Dong Sheng. Since Dong Sheng had gotten completely drunk at the banquet, they were taking Xiao Lin home and decided to bring Dong Sheng along as well. They arrived at Dong Sheng's house first, where one man helped him inside while the other waited in the car. However, Dong Sheng was in terrible shape, and it seemed his wife wasn't home. Concerned for Dong Sheng being alone, Xiao Lin asked one of the men to go tell the one waiting in the car to come up and help take care of Dong Sheng first; it wouldn't matter if they returned home a little later.
The man went downstairs to find his colleague while Xiao Lin stayed with Dong Sheng. Although Xiao Lin was of average looks, she was quite flirtatious in her daily life. However, Dong Sheng was always serious and rarely smiled. Despite having feelings for him, she never had the chance to get close. Once the man went downstairs, it left just her and Dong Sheng alone; if she didn't make a move now, when would she? Thus, what Huang Jun and Qiu Yan later witnessed unfolded.
The man returned upstairs with another colleague who had been waiting in the car, carrying a small bag of leftovers from the banquet and half a bottle of juice. Upon entering the living room, they heard Xiao Lin's soft moans from inside. They tossed the food onto the coffee table and crouched by the wall to spy on what was happening. Inside the bedroom, a passionate scene was unfolding between Xiao Lin and Dong Sheng. The two men exchanged glances and quietly enjoyed the show.
Xiao Lin was lost in ecstasy, completely forgetting that others might come upstairs as she rode Dong Sheng passionately, reveling in wave after wave of pleasure. The two men outside were thoroughly entertained; Xiao Lin was known for being flirtatious at work, teasing everyone around her—she truly was a woman full of desire. They planned to pull her back for more fun once she finished.
Just as this tension built up inside and outside, unexpectedly Qiu Yan returned home. The couple inside remained unaware of her arrival while the two men outside were startled. They quickly pulled back on the door slightly to hide better and turned to greet Qiu Yan with nervousness.
"What are you doing?" Qiu Yan was equally surprised to find others there.
"N-nothing, Sister-in-law," stammered Han Zhong, who had appeared with Xiao Lin earlier. Qiu Yan recognized him immediately. He nudged his companion beside him and said, "Nothing's going on, right? Wang Ji?"
Wang Ji nodded eagerly, clumsily saying, "Y-yeah... we thought... you weren't here..."
Wang Ji's speech was slow, making Qiu Yan feel somewhat guilty as she casually replied, "The power went out earlier; I went next door to borrow some candles."
Han Zhong quickly shifted focus: "Sister-in-law, sister-in-law! We brought back some snacks! Brother Dong Sheng is a bit drunk and is taking a shower; you can use some."
They were worried that Qiu Yan might walk in on Xiao Lin's escapades; the consequences would be unimaginable. In truth, Qiu Yan was also concerned—if both Dong Sheng and Xiao Lin came out now in front of outsiders, how would things be resolved?
