At six o'clock, Nezha finally left his dormitory and headed towards Center Lake Shore. Although there was still half an hour until their agreed meeting time, he could hardly contain his excitement and nervousness, eager to reach his destination. 0

The winter night fell particularly early, and by six o'clock, it was completely dark. The streetlights at Center Lake Shore flickered on, forming a winding ribbon of light in the darkness. A thin layer of ice covered the lake's surface, shimmering with a faint blue glow under the lights, resembling a giant mirror reflecting the stars in the night sky. 0

Following the instructions on a note, Nezha arrived at a secluded bench by the lake. It was set back from the main road, surrounded by dense trees, and was famously known as a "couple's rendezvous spot" on campus. Normally, this place would be bustling with couples at this hour, but today, for some reason, the lakeside was almost deserted. 0

Nezha sat on the bench, his heart pounding like a drum. Would Ao Bing really come? After being apart for so long, would he still remember their promise? What if this was just a joke from Aunt Taiyi or a kind arrangement to help him find closure? 0

As Nezha's thoughts spiraled, ripples suddenly appeared on the distant lake surface, and a faint blue light slowly rose from the water. Nezha held his breath, fixated on that glow. 0

The light grew brighter and gradually took on a human form. It was Ao Bing! Dressed in a pale blue robe, he stood on the lake's surface surrounded by a soft blue aura, looking like an ethereal spirit emerged from a fairy tale—stunningly beautiful. 0

"Ao Bing!" Nezha exclaimed, rushing towards the lakeside in excitement. But as he got closer, he realized that Ao Bing's body was translucent, just like when they last parted; it was merely an apparition. 0

"Nezha," Ao Bing's voice remained as cool as Nezha remembered but carried an added weight of fatigue. "I'm sorry I can't meet you in person; I can only connect with you this way for a brief moment." 0

Nezha struggled to suppress his disappointment and forced a smile. "It's okay. Just seeing you—even if it's just your spirit—makes me happy. How are things in the Dragon Palace?" 0

Ao Bing nodded. "Everything is progressing in a positive direction. My father's condition has improved somewhat, and I'm gradually getting the hang of managing Dragon Tribe affairs." He paused, tenderness flashing in his eyes. "But I miss you so much, Nezha. Every day, every moment, I think about our time together." 0

These words flowed into Nezha's heart like a warm current, dispelling the chill of winter. Ao Bing remembered him and missed him; that meant everything. 0

"I miss you too, Ao Bing," Nezha said sincerely. "Without you, everything has lost its color. I talk to the Crystal Pendant every day, hoping you can hear me and feel my longing." 0

Ao Bing smiled gently, "I heard you, Nezha. Through the crystal, I can feel your thoughts and longing. That’s why I found a way to create this avatar, to briefly return to your side." 0

Nezha stepped forward, wanting to touch Ao Bing, but his hand passed through Ao Bing's body, feeling only a fleeting chill of energy. This realization pained him, but he tried hard to mask his disappointment. "How long can you stay?" 0

"Not long," Ao Bing replied regretfully. "The avatar consumes a lot of energy, and the farther apart we are, the shorter the time I can maintain it." 0

Nezha bit his lip and nodded. "Then let’s cherish this moment." 0
