Ming Jiu nestled comfortably in Su Qianyang's arms, expressing admiration for her Senior Brothers and Sisters and their master.
Upon meeting the rest of Su Qianyang's fellow disciples, Ming Jiu had to admit that this seemingly silly girl was the most normal one among them in Xian Yu Ling Yuan.
Compared to her Fourth Brother, who played chess with himself using only white pieces, her Second Brother, who read books backward, the Third Senior Brother, who ran around and knew every demon and monster within a hundred miles of Xian Yu Ling Yuan, and her Master Brother, who was always looking for someone to duel with, Su Qianyang was as normal as could be.
When Su Qianyang returned to Xian Yu Ling Yuan, her dress was torn and tattered from branches, stained with Ming Jiu's blood. Her little face was smudged with dirt and grime, and she was cradling a Shiba Inu that was half-covered in blood, looking utterly pitiful.
Her appearance successfully shocked the peculiar inhabitants of Xian Yu Ling Yuan, who dropped what they were doing and rushed over.
"Yang Yang, you've finally been robbed of both money and virtue!"
"Little Junior Sister, is that the latest design from this year's Silkworm Girl collection?"
"Little Junior Sister, did a powerful monster bully you nearby? Tell your Master Brother; I'll help you get revenge!"
Su Qianyang pouted, holding up Ming Jiu. "Third Senior Brother left me at Du Shan to watch the show by myself. I found this little one in the mountains; it’s badly injured. Can you all help take a look?"
The group circled around the half-dog creature for a while before turning their attention back to Su Qianyang. They concluded that she was merely exhausted with some minor scrapes and bruises that would heal after a bath and a good night's sleep. The Shiba Inu had been injured by a rare weapon, had lost too much blood, and needed some time to recover.
Knowing the dog was okay made Su Qianyang happy. She hugged Ming Jiu and gave her a kiss. "As long as you're fine! Son, son, let’s wash you clean together!"
Upon hearing this, Ming Jiu was instantly alarmed and struggled to jump out of Su Qianyang's embrace. Su Qianyang exclaimed in surprise, grabbing hold of Ming Jiu's hind legs. "A son who doesn’t get washed clean isn’t a good son!"
Although the wound had stopped bleeding and was healing, the lost vitality could not be replenished in a short time. Just when Ming Jiu felt weak and powerless, he was forcefully dragged by Su Qianyang through a maze of turns into the bathroom, and with a flick of her hand, he was tossed into the bathtub.
Ming Jiu, feeling both embarrassed and furious, resorted to a dog-paddle style of swimming, desperately trying to make his way to the edge of the tub. Suddenly, darkness enveloped him; it turned out that the mischievous girl had thrown her discarded clothes over his head.
He heard Su Qianyang's giggles beside him, and when the clothes were finally removed from his face, he was met with a sight that made his heart race.
Su Qianyang's hair flowed like clouds, framing her delicate and fair face that glowed with a soft pink hue from the steam. Her clear eyes sparkled like pure lake water. He never expected this seemingly airheaded girl to have such an alluring figure…
As Ming Jiu stared in shock, Su Qianyang scooped him up from the water: “Son, look at you! You’ve lost so much blood and gotten yourself all dirty.”
With one arm holding him close, she used her other hand to clean the blood from his fur.
By the time Ming Jiu regained his senses, his chin rested on Su Qianyang's tender arm, enveloped in her embrace. He could feel her softness against him without any barriers…
Having lived for over ten thousand years, Ming Jiu had never experienced such intimate contact with a female. His face flushed bright red, feeling as if his fur might catch fire as he struggled desperately.
Su Qianyang was focused on washing him and didn’t understand why her little dog suddenly went wild. She held onto Ming Jiu tightly: “Hey, hey! Son, don’t move! I just need to clean your fur; it’ll be quick! Ah—why are you bleeding from your nose?”
When Su Qianyang hurriedly wrapped herself in a silk robe and rushed to show Ming Jiu to several senior brothers for examination, Ming Jiu kicked his legs and fainted outright.
The senior brothers checked Ming Jiu’s hind legs and concluded: “It’s male.”
They then turned to Su Qianyang with serious expressions and advised her earnestly: “In the future, never let this dog bathe with you again!”
What? Su Qianyang's limited intelligence was simply not enough; what did it matter if her son was male when it came to bathing together?
However, less than two months later, upon discovering the truth, tears streamed down her face!
