As the two were discussing their strategy, Nezha's phone suddenly rang—it was an unknown number.
"Hello?" Nezha answered the call, his voice cautious.
"Nezha, it's me, Ao Bing." The familiar voice on the other end sounded more fatigued and tense than usual.
"Ao Bing!" Nezha nearly jumped with excitement. "Are you okay? I've been so worried about you! What's going on at the Dragon Palace?"
"I'm fine for now," Ao Bing whispered, as if trying to avoid being overheard. "But things are dire. The Elder Council has restricted my movements, and Ao Lie is gradually taking control of the Dragon Palace. Worse yet, the Sea Stabilizing Needle is still missing, and the energy in the East Sea is starting to destabilize, affecting the climate along the coast."
"I know about the Sea Stabilizing Needle," Nezha said urgently. "Shen Gongbao told me that the Li Yang Sect stole it and plans to hold some kind of 'Reverse Dragon Technique' ceremony tonight in the East Sea to strip all Dragon Tribe powers."
There was a brief silence on the other end of the line. "Shen Gongbao? How does he know all this?"
"He claims to be playing a double agent role, infiltrating the Li Yang Sect to gather intelligence. But now he's suddenly gone missing, and we suspect he has been captured by them."
"Nezha, listen to me," Ao Bing's voice grew more urgent. "Don't believe anything Shen Gongbao has told you. He might be misleading you. According to ancient texts from the Dragon Palace, the Li Yang Sect will indeed hold a ceremony, but not in the East Sea—instead, it will be on Flame Island in the West Sea. There’s an ancient altar there that is the only place where the 'Reverse Dragon Technique' can be performed."
Nezha was taken aback. "The West Sea? That's completely in the opposite direction!"
"Exactly. That's why I think Shen Gongbao is leading you into a trap. The Li Yang Sect needs Demon Sphere Power to complete their ceremony, and you are precisely what they are looking for."
Aunt Taiyi leaned closer to the phone and interjected, "Ao Bing, are you sure about the location of the ceremony being in the West Sea? That contradicts the information I have."
"I am absolutely certain, Senior Taiyi. The Forbidden Library of the Dragon Palace has detailed records, and I happened to review them just before I was placed under house arrest. Flame Island is where the sun sinks into the sea, symbolizing the Yang Qi that restrains the water nature of the Dragon Tribe, making it an excellent venue for the ceremony."
Nezha exchanged a worried glance with Aunt Taiyi. If Ao Bing was telling the truth, then they had almost fallen into Shen Gongbao's trap, heading in the wrong direction.
"I will head to the West Sea as soon as possible," Nezha said firmly. "I need to stop them before the ceremony begins."
"No!" Ao Bing's voice suddenly rose. "It's too dangerous! The Li Yang Sect is powerful, and their leader, Lady Shiji, is a demon who has cultivated for a thousand years. You are no match for her."
"Then I can't just stand by and watch the Dragon Tribe fall into crisis!" Nezha raised his voice in response. "Besides, weren't you also placed under house arrest? Who will stop this ceremony?"
"I have my own plans regarding the Dragon Palace," Ao Bing explained. "On the surface, I am under house arrest, but my father's loyal captain, Ao Run, has been secretly assisting me. We are gathering strength to break free from Ao Lie's control and then head to the West Sea to stop the ceremony."
"Then I should go ahead and scout first," Nezha insisted. "I can go to the West Sea first, assess the situation, and buy you time."
On the other end of the line, Ao Bing let out a helpless sigh. "Nezha, you don't understand. This isn't just a matter of danger; it relates to a larger situation. If the Li Yang Sect discovers that the Dragon Prince is connected to the Magic Orb Reincarnation, they will exploit this to further divide the Dragon Tribe from within. The Dragon Palace is already on the brink of division; I can't afford to add more variables."
