The driver's words were more convincing than Jiang Chen's.
Chen Renjing was left speechless, standing there in shock, while Huang Lin quickly expressed her gratitude. "Thank you to your president. She must be very busy; not only did she lend me the wedding house, but she also helped me decorate it. However, I can't accept these gifts; they're too expensive."

"Lin Lin, your president is just being polite. Besides, for her, this little gift is nothing at all. If you refuse it, she might get upset," Huang Lin's mother said quickly when she saw her daughter about to decline the gifts.
"Miss Huang, your mother is right. If you don't accept it, our president might be unhappy. Just take it," the driver smiled.
Huang Lin glanced at Jiang Chen and suddenly realized that her boyfriend's childhood friend was quite enigmatic.
"Jiang Chen, these gifts are too valuable; I would feel uneasy accepting them," Huang Lin said sincerely.
"Yes, Jiang Chen, what’s going on? How do you know such an impressive person? These gifts are beyond what ordinary people can afford. If we accept them, it would mean we owe her a favor. We are already grateful that she lent us the house for our wedding; we can't accept these gifts," Wang Shun Yuan added seriously.
"It's just her kind intention; it's fine to accept them," Jiang Chen said with a slight smile.
"Then let's just take one quilt; we won't take anything else," Wang Shun Yuan suggested.
"Wang Ge, don't worry too much about the gifts. Let's see what else needs tidying up in the wedding house. With so many people here, we should get things organized quickly," Jiang Chen redirected the conversation.
"I can't help but worry! Jiang Chen, this surprise is too big! Who is this friend of yours? I've never heard you mention them before!" Wang Shun Yuan still felt uneasy.
"You'll find out when we have dinner together tonight," Jiang Chen replied with a smile.
"Alright then! I’ll make sure to thank her properly tonight," Wang Shun Yuan said.
Over an hour later, Qin Xiaoya's driver stood up and said to Jiang Chen, "Mr. Jiang, shall we head to the hotel now?"
"Since everything is ready, let's go eat," Jiang Chen nodded.
"May I ask where we're having dinner tonight?" Huang Lin's father asked curiously.
"Jingcheng Hotel," the driver replied.
