Nezha followed the instructions and stood on the giant rock in the center of the lake. The water was icy cold, gently lapping at the edges of the rock, creating a peculiar rhythm that instilled a sense of inexplicable tranquility.
"Close your eyes and feel the Demon Sphere Power within you," Taiyi Zhenren's voice echoed across the surface of the lake. "Do not try to control it; instead, resonate with it, just like the understanding you share with Ao Bing."
Nezha closed his eyes and began to sense the power within him as instructed by Taiyi Zhenren. At first, he could only feel a chaotic mass of energy, completely devoid of any pattern.
However, as time passed, Nezha gradually discovered that this mass of energy seemed to have its own pulse, forming a harmonious rhythm with his heartbeat.
"Good, now try to guide this power, letting it flow from your heart throughout your body," Taiyi Zhenren continued to instruct. "Remember, the key is not to force it but to guide it."
Nezha attempted to direct the energy but found it as unruly as a wild stallion, difficult to tame. Every time he tried to control its direction, it became even more agitated.
"Relax, Nezha," Taiyi Zhenren seemed to sense his struggle. "You are too tense. Think of Ao Bing; think of the feeling you share together—the calmness and trust."
Taking a deep breath, Nezha conjured an image of Ao Bing in his mind. He remembered those calm and deeply affectionate eyes, that supportive smile during his lowest moments, and the figure that always stood by his side.
Gradually, Nezha felt the Demon Sphere Power within him becoming less restless, beginning to yield to his guidance as it flowed through his entire body.
"Very good," Taiyi Zhenren's voice carried a note of approval. "Now, slowly open your eyes."
When Nezha opened his eyes, he was astonished to find himself surrounded by a soft golden light, emanating from within him. Even more surprising was that the water on the lake's surface had risen slightly due to this power, forming a protective circle around him.
"What is this..." Nezha gazed in wonder at the scene around him.
Taiyi Zhenren smiled and nodded. "This is the true Demon Sphere Power—capable of both destruction and protection. The key lies in how you guide it."
For the next few hours, Taiyi Zhenren taught Nezha how to control this power more precisely, how to apply it flexibly in different situations, and how to maintain control even when physically exhausted.
As the sun set, Nezha ended a day of training feeling exhausted yet satisfied.
"Remember today’s sensations," Taiyi Zhenren advised at last. "The Demon Sphere Power originates from your heart; only by truly understanding yourself can you fully master this power."
Nezha nodded earnestly. "Thank you, Aunt Taiyi. I will continue to work hard."
Meanwhile, in the Dragon Palace, Ao Bing was also undergoing rigorous training. Unlike Nezha’s approach, Ao Bing’s training focused more on the ancient spells and wisdom of the Dragon Tribe.
"Concentrate, Your Highness," an elderly Dragon Elder instructed. "The essence of the Dragon Tribe's ancient methods lies in the concentration of will."
Ao Bing stood at the center of a special formation surrounded by ancient Dragon Tribe runes. His hands formed seals as beads of sweat appeared on his forehead; he was clearly engaged in a highly challenging practice.
"Imagine the power of the ocean—vast and unfathomable," the elder continued guiding him. "But remember that while the ocean is immense, it also has its boundaries; great power must be tempered with restraint."
Taking a deep breath, Ao Bing felt the Dragon Tribe power within him surging like tides. He sensed his strength steadily increasing but also realized that the true challenge lay not in merely growing stronger but in how wisely he could wield this power.
